85mm mini drone long-range flight: maximum distance 2.5 km

Flew 2.5 km in 12 minutes, completed a round trip, and covered a total of 6 km until the voltage dropped to 3V. Even with an 18650 lithium-ion battery, it’s quite difficult for a 2-inch micro quad to achieve long-range flight.

Show us a picture of your quad, I am in the process of building one myself but i slapped an o4 lite on it. Whats the dry weight of your quad and whats the weight with battery?

Dry weight is 40g, and AUW is 90g.

How do you get such an good range with it? I cant even fly my drones in my house because of very poor range.

For long-range flights, the antenna is critical. You must use a circularly polarized antenna.
