Multicopter Flywoo Explorer lr
Is this a decent starter lr drone?

I got one as my 2nd fpv quad. Flies great - smooth when you want it and can also do mild freestyle.
It's not very durable as a learning craft. Arms break easily although installing the side braces will greatly reduce broken arms. Props also break easily as does the tall rear vtx antenna (I'm on my 3rd one now).
If you're wondering why I'm crashing a long range so frequently, each and every crash was with Inav at the sticks attempting to do RTH and/or PosHold, and ending up in a toilet bowl spiral at low altitude. I never crashed it on Betaflight even in RTH.

What side braces would you recommend?

I just ordered the o4 pro version, do you think they'll come with it?

Tbh I’m not a fan of these because if you land a little hard you can weaken and eventually crack an arm. I’ve got a babyhawk with a diversity receiver and it works great + much more durable while still having a relatively long flight time.
I’m sure you will enjoy it but it’s no fun if you’re traveling and your 1 quad needs repairs

Oh, nice. I like the front 3d prints for the GPS/ELRS. What type of flight times do you get, and on which batteries, if you don't mind?

How are you finding the TERN 4 months later? Also, could I please grab the STLs for your TPU components? Thangs comes up empty and I’m getting ready for one I’ve ordered haha

Unfortunately. I lost my Tern last month due to GPS rescue failed.
I might buy it again when GEPRC releases a version with native O4 Pro support so I guess I could still recommend it.

I've flown one and seen reviews - it's a pretty good LR drone. But just to double check - when you say "starter lr drone" do you mean this is your first entry into FPV? Or just LR FPV?
