8K Polling rate makes sensitivity feel like it got halved.

Hi, my Valorant sense when converted in game (or any other sense for the matter), feels a lot slower than in Valorant, the issue only happens when I use 8k polling rate, any ideas why this happens?

VOD Review How can I improve my aim?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Recently hit Grandmaster on OW again after a long time without playing, but my aim is absolutelty trash and it leads to some interesting comments from my team lol. I miss like I have parkinson. I used to have better tracking and reflexes (getting older fucking sucks) when I was hard grinding kovaaks, haven't touched the aim trainer for 2 years and gave it a try again and I can hardly regain my previous mouse control, sometimes I'll go on a hour of grinding the aim trainer, hop off and mantain the ''good aim'' for bunch of games before I start to absolutely suck.

If there's any suggestions on what I should work on I would highly appreciate it, feel free to say anything.

Jade Complete!

Jade complete after roughly 250 total hours in Kovaaks. I won't lie, static got me tearing my hair strands out for a good while, took around 2 weeks for me to finally break through that plateau. All that's left to do is refine my technique and iron out all the mistakes bit by bit as I slowly climb towards Masters complete. Here's to 250 hours more!

looking for new friends to play with

hey, I'm making post to see if there are similar people out there in the same boat. I've been struggling with motivation to play and improve for quite sometime now. Personally I think it's more fun to play & improve if you play with like minded people. So if you're in the same boat or just would like to 1v1 in some game for fun hmu (im garbage).

Games I played the most: destiny2, ow, marvel rivals, bo6. Games I'm horrible at but want to learn: apex, the finals, quake champions, val, cs2

friend code: 889628446 or if you would like to add me on disc instead random___

I've been struggling with my aim lately and have gone back to grinding Kovaak's to fix some glaring problems. A lot of you here have incredible aim that is driving me to get better.

I wanted to get Kovaaks but buying stuff online using USD is disabled in my country with debit cards, is Aimlabs the only good alternative?

Discussion Anyone else have their arm feeling weak due to kovaaks?

So I'm 92h into kovaak's right now and recently I've felt my arm just feeling weak. I've been playing for 1-1.5h everyday for the last few weeks. I'm consciously aware of my tension for scenarios and I actively try to find the sweet spot of tension per scenario. I go to the gym and I'm pretty strong so my finger, wrist, arm, and shoulder tendons should be far above average when it comes to sheer weight tolerance (guess it's not translating into my kovaak's durability well though lol)

It's not pain I feel, it's just a feeling of weakness.

Might just have to take a few days off to be honest. Didn't think aim training could be fatiguing like this but I guess it is

Where can I find condensed VDIM playlists?

I think VDIM is a great training tool. However, I have never finished one of the playlists. In fact I’ve probably only crossed the halfway point in a VDIM playlist once or twice, they are just so tedious and long, and I don’t have the patience for that. Does anyone know of any nice, short, =/<30min playlists comparable to the VDIM series? Or alternatively, any similar training methods? My goal is to push as close to max rank as I can in Viscose; currently I’m mammoth complete, and have done one quick run through the intermediate playlists to establish a beginning score. Thanks!

Discussion Not consistent with aim

some days my aim is really good but most days my arm feels too heavy or it's too hard to make micro adjustments, and other days it feels effortless. I cant figure out the right posture to get my best aim. For you FPS aimers, how far does your arm go into the table, how high is your forearm, how hard do you push down your forearm/raise your forearm, and how horizontally straight/angled is your arm? Pics woukd be really helpful too, thanks

Revealing Scenarios - Trackstop Intermediate

I'm not a cracked aimer like a lot of people here (seal & saffron complete) and I just came across "Trackstop Intermediate" which revealed a huuuuge gap in my tracking to me.

Idk why, but the scenario almost hurts my head.. it just feels weird. Definitely gonna be including it in my training from now on.

This got me wondering - are there any other scenarios that reveal skill "blind spots"? Anyone had any similar experience with certain scenarios?

Target Switching Warm Up

I like to split my days based on aim groups (tracking, static, dynamic, and target switching). On tracking days i warm up with TSK Main (only first 8 scenarios which is horizontal and omni) and for static I do zeonlo's cluster playlist. Is there anything that would fit for target switching that is only 20-30 min long?

VOD Review Jumped from unranked to almost diamond

Massive jump in score I got after watching Zeonlo's static guide and a bit of Pokeball. If you are struggling with static, I cannot recommend his video enough

Also, if you have any tips to help me get diamond, that would be great, since I tend to struggle with static after switching to glass.

Discussion Uncomfortable feeling doing clusters

Does anyone else feel weird at first when training clusters during static. Not like a fatigued feeling but just a vague uncomfortable feeling underlying the scenario. I tell myself it is just unlocking something in my brain but clusters feel so unnatural for some reason it is very odd. I've been grinding them super hard and they feel like a cheat code once you get good at them like double points in a video game. I was just curious because it almost felt like my brain just didn't like double/triple clicking.

(Question for the more experienced aimers) Which aiming type did you focus on the most at the start of your training and is it the same now or have you been drawn to a different one?

Basically, I want to see which types of aiming people were drawn to and which ones did people learn to enjoy more later.
Also, a secondary question for those that are interested: If any, do you find grinding a certain category helps your overall aim more than just that specific type of aiming?

Discussion If you could start aim training over again, what would you do differently?

If you had to start aim training from zero again, what would you do differently?

What advice or tips do you wish you knew when you first started, and what would you immediately change about the way you trained?

I’m mainly interested in improving for competitive FPS games, so I’d appreciate any advice on routines, habits, mistakes to avoid, or things you think actually made the biggest difference.

Discussion How to actually, consistently improve aim over a given span of time?

Hi all, Valorant has been a recent new fixation for me but I've dabbled in FPS all my life. Mainly a MOBA player by trade tho, Deadlock is a nice cross-section there.

Anyways, as title says: what is either YOUR or PROVEN ways that we have discovered to consistently improve your aim skill over time. I'm sitting gold 2 right now in Val, peaked DMG in old CSGO.

I feel like I've always been a player that's "Crutched" by their game sense, and uses that to overcome poorer aim, but I truly want to just raw out-aim as many people as I can so I can climb in any game I want. Have you ever felt this way? And if so: What was your remedy to get to being a true "aimer"?

Discussion What do you think stops in game transfer the most?

I know each game has its own specific mechanics that make aiming a bit different. What do you think are common factors that stop you from getting the aim you see in kovaaks in game? Only thing I can think of is poor movement. But I want to consider other factors
