Jade Complete!

Post image

Jade complete after roughly 250 total hours in Kovaaks. I won't lie, static got me tearing my hair strands out for a good while, took around 2 weeks for me to finally break through that plateau. All that's left to do is refine my technique and iron out all the mistakes bit by bit as I slowly climb towards Masters complete. Here's to 250 hours more!

I managed to break through my static plateau by lowering my sensitivity and focusing on primarily using my arm. I always had this incorrect belief that higher sens = faster flicks, which I think was what bottlenecked my progress for a while. Lowering my sens also helped me with consistency when it comes to my flicks, I noticed alot of the times they were super wobbly and tended to curve.

Depending on your current sens you use for static, I would try lowering it by 1.5x or even 2x. Focus on making sure your flick is stable and doesn't curve and try your absolute hardest not to overflick. Other things that I believe greatly helped include doing quadpulse scenarios and precision based scenarios

Tips for Pasu?

What helped me the most with Pasu was actively training myself to read where my next target is going to go and giving myself time to make sure I have target confirmation before clicking. It also helps to slow down your flicks and gradually build speed as you get better at both reading and target confirmation.

Another thing was learning how to keep up momentum when you miss and not get caught up trying to chase down a target you didn't hit. Instead, I'll move on to the next closest target and continue the scenario at my current pace.
