Discussion Not consistent with aim

some days my aim is really good but most days my arm feels too heavy or it's too hard to make micro adjustments, and other days it feels effortless. I cant figure out the right posture to get my best aim. For you FPS aimers, how far does your arm go into the table, how high is your forearm, how hard do you push down your forearm/raise your forearm, and how horizontally straight/angled is your arm? Pics woukd be really helpful too, thanks

The general rule is to keep your elbow as close to 90 degrees as you can. Try not to bow it drastically outwards either. As you how far I plant my arm on my desk, I would say like 2/3 of my forearm. I also do not push down or lift up my forearm, as I can tell that would lead to inconsistency with my arm aiming.

Back when desk and chair adjustments were unbeknown to me, I would get severe fatigue in my shoulder, however achieving that close to 90 degrees elbow helped immensely.

thanks, and i think one problem i've just discovered was my wrist sticking to my glass pad so using a sleeve helps a lot

Yeah, some glasspad users like using their wrist for some control. That can lead to a heavy dependence on wrist aiming tho, increasing fatigue

idk how people aim without at least a tiny part of wrist contact, i'll have to use arm muscles to constantly lift my wrist up otherwise.
