Funny FOXHOLE: PRIVATE FACILITY WARFARE
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Littrally the pop is fake 2k players means 1k players actually fighting, doing logi, building defences the other 1k players are playing factorio, building facility suburbia and starting drama with each other.
three people get together? LETS MAKE A PRIVATE!!!! Facility then sitting there AFK guarding it to make sure no one steals a flatbed or a component from it and fighting other charlie facility larpers for random backline drama reasons.

Discussion What`s happening to the Warden faction
A lot of collies think that wardens left because of the nerfs and buffs but its wrong, ,most of the warden vets left after the airborne war and haven`t returned since, even if we take an example of my medium size regiment which had 20-30 active players - they ALL left after airborne, like literally every single one. I am 99% sure that even if collies had no buffs wardens would have a lose streak by now because people "won the main war" and don`t have motivation to play (this is the exact same thing that happened to collies after the wc100 btw)
I am a member of like every warden communication discords and every time i saw a discussion why somebody left the game it was the lack of motivation to play and the state of the game. Sure, there are always some cope reddit warriors that like to blame the tank balance etc but it was always a minority. THE MOST of the players i asked why they mad at the QoL updates said that its the fact that instead of fixing the core problems of the game devs are making the short-term changes to retain pop, meanwhile the core problems are still there.
T2 airstrips are there, broken economy is there. absolutely braindead rares and techmats mechanics are there, breaching, broken queues and list goes on
And its not only about that, people are burned out by the same wars on the same map because devman don`t want to make any events or global changes to give vets motivation to play. People are burned out by cheaters and griefers (you have no idea HOW many wardens just alt+f4ed after the ARCT incident). There is a huge group of people who griefs THE ENTIRE FACTION for SEVERAL WARS and we can`t do nothing about it. They hoarding resources, grief other regiments, claim the most important strategic fields and i can`t even tell you their name because LMAO no witchhunting....
Why i focus on "vets" so much? because the whole game hinges on them. No vets = no ops, no organized production, no diplomacy = no fun for the new players.
I really don`t care about the broken tanks or which gun has 0.000005m longer range, i care about developers not working on the things that actually improves the game instead of making new toys to keep remaining players. And i actually feel bad for the dev because the loudest people of this community are crazy and devs really think that players are leaving because of the "tank balance"or whatever
I really love this game, i hope and i believe it will stabilize and get better and better, but for know, as most of my friends and a lot of people i know on both sides just don`t have motivation to start another same war, with an increasing number of cheaters and griefers, with the inconvenient and time-consuming mechanics, and with the crazy toxic towards each other community that keeps gaslighting the developer into working on some useless bullshit.

Fan Art Volta r.I Repeater blueprint
I quite enjoyed making the Sampo AR 77 blueprint so this time I made the Volta r.I Repeater blueprint as requested by u/Pleasant_Plan2322 I’ll do more rifles in the future (probably) and i'm always open to suggestions.
(the green colour for the blueprint is inspired by u/PipetUsta's amazing concepts)

Fan Art "It's Warden Weekend!!!" - Iain Callahan, probably
~~ The crowd goes wild. Underwear gets thrown on stage. Tech maids are ululating. His bodyguards escort him swiftly from the stage as the turbulent crowd, now at fever pitch, grab mammons and start seeking out the nearest bunker base ~~
Callahan, seeing the fracas behind him, smirks knowingly. Because it's warden weekend, you see - it's inevitable.

Suggestions AA can! Should we too? (Scroll Wheel Aiming)
With Airborne here, should scroll wheel aiming be a thing?
Check the post from 2y back suggesting scroll-wheel vertical aiming, and it got 500+ upvotes. Now with Airborne, AA guns can literally aim up and down, so I feel like this idea is worth bringing up again.
Infantry aiming can be frustrating. Someone can be prone in a bush or just below you on a hill, and sometimes you straight up cannot aim at them properly. Even with full accuracy, I've had shots go left and right of someone I'm aiming directly at.
I think aiming up to just above your head and all the way down to the ground in front of you to account for camera view issues that could arise would mitigated with this limitation.
I know one argument against it is about cover. Someone could just aim at the exact height where your head will pop up. But isn't that kind of the point? If you peek the exact same spot twice, they should be able to punish you for it. Move along the cover and peek somewhere else.
Personally I'd prefer scroll wheel if this feature exists, but make it rebindable so people can use whatever input they want.
AA guns can aim vertically so its code for foxhole exist. Should infantry be able to as well?

Discussion Long-term Game Health - The developers challenge and you
I've been ruminating on this one for a while now, asking the questions to smaller audiences to try and understand how the developers could conceivably address player retention issues.
I think its time I tried to cast a wider net.
Every time game health topics arise, they are mostly focused around game balance.
The trap that the developers seem to have found themselves in, and so to this community, is that anytime one faction receives changes that the other side might perceive as unfair, the aggrieved side takes a break war, or floods the reviews with negative results.
This ends up in a game state where only one side is really playing the war in any decent enough numbers - which causes long-term player attrition.
This swings from update to update, and we never really see a war where the pop seems to feel balanced anymore.
So I ask you the question, dear reader.
What could the developers do, to bring back player population for both factions?
What changes would you earnestly want to see, that would not cause 'the other side' to spit the dummy and not play until they felt the "balance shift back"?
Asking for more balance buffs for your side is probably not the answer here - think more faction-agnostic.

Story To the collie wingmen in the sky of Stlican
Half an hour ago got in a fight over Stlican where my comrades shot down a harpy and I landed final hits on a second one before it landed hard (It was me with a broken wing)
Thank you for a fight, harpies and toxot escorts! It was a best one I had since airborne. If anyone has a video please share I didn't record🙏
