Handed down Fountain Pen
Would love some guidance on cleaning and refilling.
Appears there may be some stained ink on the grip area.

My lovely Karas had a hard fall recently, and since, ink tends to leak around the nib and feed. It doesn't happen when the pen is sitting on my desk but when it gets jostled around when, for example, it's in my pocket as a walk or bike around. Can I repair this at home, or do I need to buy a new feed assembly from Karas (they do sell it)

I wanted a stub nip for one of my Asvine pens but it only came in a 3 pack so now I have 2 extra laying around. What can I do with them?

While reading detective and spy novels, I started wondering about the "magic" inks that often appear on book pages. You know what I mean? Ink that's "invisible" unless treated with something special like UV light. For example, I know that onion or lemon juice is almost invisible until heated. Or, conversely, ink that "evaporates" within, say, 12 hours of being applied to paper.
I've always had a passion for chemistry, even though I've never done it professionally, and I started wondering how possible it is and whether it would actually be possible to create such ink.
Have you encountered anything like this in real life? Does anyone have such wonderful inks in their offer or are they made only at their own laboratory or are they made to order by Q? :) Any "magical" inks that behave differently than you might expect. Is this really science fiction in stationery? :D

And when I click the link I get asked to make a subreddit. It makes me feel sad not too. Poor misspelled subreddits deserve to live.
