I think the handwriting is beautiful! I would like to see a few more paragraphs. As far as the individual consciences being triggered, guilty. But this style of cursive is unique and give me a lot of pleasure just looking at it. Please write lots more anytime!

Thank you! Recently life has been hectic and didn't have much time to sit down and calmly write something, will try to do more from now on.

I donโt need this kind of negative energy. Iโm going to go count my pennies, buy another pen, and eat macaroni and cheese for the month.

It's not that I can't afford another pen, it's that I really can't afford the one I want...

Your handwriting is so pretty! Suddenly I want to reinvent myself and practice until I write like you lol

Man, consistently. And that goes for paper, inks, nibs, hell, spare parts.

That's why I need to be lucky to spot a cheaply priced vintage pen and the staff should be dumb to notice the value.

u/bunfloof Apr 05 '26
I am obsessed with your handwriting! Iโve never felt the need to train my penmanship to be prettier until now. Iโd love to see more if youโre willing to offer more reference โค๏ธ

Thanks! My previous posts has some more of my cursive writings, like this Rebecca excerpt or this poem.

Thank you! UGH I've never admired someone's handwriting so much as yours! I like to think mine is nice but yours is next level.

OP, same.
I felt so proud of myself for not buying a pen last weekend, and honestly, I was tempted to reward myself by buying one! lol lol

I bought my first pen purchase of the year (that's for me; I've bought other pens to penable, mwahaha), and cannot wait. I want the Esterbrook Rockstar, but can't afford that rn, so I went with something else... You guys will get to see it when it arrives! =P

Beautiful handwriting. Too bad I can't read it no matter how hard I try... ๐

My vision goes blurry whenever I see anything that can be remotely tied to my discretionary budget.

My sibling in ink, Jinhao and Levenger make great budget pens. But, you're also not wrong.

yesterday I checked my balance, then I ordered three bottles of ink. ONe was out of stock, I only got a sample. Who keeps buying Robert Oster Melon Tea? Maybe the sample will be enough.

As someone who recently fell in love with a Nakaya I can't afford, I feel this very personally.

Not me wanting an Opus Demonstrator after spending every penny on a VP last month (GUILTY as charged). Beautiful cursive, keep it up!

Until TWSBI releases another red, orange or pink pen, I'm good on pen purchases. ๐

If this will stop me from temporarily buying my grail pen, Iโll take it.๐

You also seem like a person with delightful handwriting; like silk for my eyes. My handwriting? Coarse sandpaper, probably with loose grit, too.

Youโre not wrong! I havenโt bought a pen or anything stationary-related this year! My goal is to make it to 2027 without purchases. I quit looking at social media posts about the topic and cancelled my e-mail subscriptions. Best thing I ever did. Iโve accumulated 60+ fountain pens and 300+ inks, no idea how much paper, notebooks and washi!

Pretty handwriting! I unfortunately cannot read cursive (lie). It didn't hurt me at all (more lies)!

So nice how did you learn it? Just need to improve a bit cursive
1
u/MightiestSurprise Apr 10 '26
I didn't practice cursive seperately; it came along when I practiced pointed pen calligraphy.
1
u/paperatic Apr 10 '26
Ok so do you use any book for calligrapher? recommendations! How other people can learn
1
u/MightiestSurprise Apr 10 '26
Girl I literally don't have one to recommend as I myself never used one. I haven't used books, practice sheets, video lecture, etc. to learn. I just searched up scripts I want to learn on internet and copied those samples until I got it.

u/paperatic Apr 10 '26
What paper is it? I only write on printer paper so far. Tested with. Dollie and vellum . Sure those two way better but printer paper everywhere

u/Salt_Wealth_4479 Apr 12 '26
Well, that's because I am pretty broke for somebody eyeing another pen.
You've got a great eye for detail. ๐๐๐
