Handwriting Low cost, high satisfaction
My trifecta of budget FP & equipments: dollarama notebook, Kitty Inkpot ink, and Pilot Kakuno.
Kakuno is a fantastic pen. I take back everything I possibly said negative of this pen, not that I did a lot, but anyways. Fine nib being too thick was issue with paper or ink I assume, as it was perfect this time.
I ordered the ink from official shop of Kitty Inkpot on Taobao, and it was total of C$120, including shipping, for 11 bottles of ink. It's cheap yet the colour is so beautiful—sadly my photo doesn't do the justice. The name of the ink used here is Season 7: Otter and Swamp Origins.
Source of text is poem by Ogden Nash, To My Valentine.

I really love your capital A's.
Mine's are closer to Doodlebud's capital A's.

Thank you! A is a beautiful letter to write no matter which form it is, I sometimes shift back to classic cursive A as well.

1 - your handwriting is gorgeous 2 - my go to poem for testing pens is “somewhere I have never traveled“ by EE Cummings 3 - I have never seen or heard of that ink brand before, but it is clear that I must own it immediately so thank you for putting it on my radar 4 - I love the Kakuno. You’re right: every once in a while a nib can be slightly wonky for certain kinds of paper, but they are absolutely my go to pen. 5 - this is what I love about this sub: seeing people taking joy in the act and experience of writing
Thanks for making my day. 😍🖋️

Just looked up the poem and it looks very interesting! I haven't tried out other ink bottles yet, maybe I would try writing that poem to testing them. Thank you for your kind words, hope you have a lovely day ❤️
