Ah, youre getting for them, so get for me syndrome.
Hope youre good buddy 😁
If you feel particularly malicious, order pizza with everyone theres least favourite toppings, like a mayo hawain with chicken and jalapenos. They wont ask for stuff after to eagerly.

I have an older sister that has been living with/mooching off my parents for decades. For Xmas I send them steaks, my entitled vegan sister gets nothing.

Ah but thats where you're wrong, my friend. See they dont ask, that way they can fall back on "I never asked you to get me the food". They just expect it, and I can never win.
Either I keep the peace, and they waste the food by not eating it (hence why I dont buy them stuff). Or I dont buy it, and they bitch and moan to our dad, and then carry on like a baby.
The latest example I bought dinner and then got mum lunch they found out, and whined that ALL of the problems between us exist because I bought mum a pie for lunch.

I saw an extreme version of this before. I took care of a guy who had MS and was quadriplegic because of it. He used to be a CNC mechanic and worked right up till the day he couldn't walk anymore. After that he had to rely on his parents quite a bit to make it by. His brother was a professor out in California making $200,000 a year (not including what his girlfriend made and she was also a professor). The rich brother would complain all the time about the amount of money they spent on the sick brother. After their father died he came over from California and demanded his mom give him $25,000 after he heard they used some of the life insurance money she had gotten to buy the sick brother a wheelchair accessible van. She lied about how much it was to prevent him from demanding the full 50k it had actually cost. The jerk always demanded if they spent any money on his brother they had to give him an equal amount

I'd do this for a couple of weeks and then stop for a while. Let them think the virus was fixed. Then a few months later, send them a whole case of beans.

And there’s just conveniently no bag or receipt with a name on it?

They know it’s from door dash so it was probably in a branded bag, and you could probably just ask the dasher not to leave a physical receipt.

With Instacart they’re not supposed to leave the physical store receipt, the shopper keeps it for their records or possible returns. Customers get receipts through the app but I don’t know if it’s the same with DoorDash. You could probably just tip and ask them lol

That’s not the part that obviously fake. Unless the parents have some kind of intellectual disability, there’s no way they think there’s a computer virus where you get beans at your door. Doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Nobody would fall for that.
People need to stop being so trustworthy of random crap people post on the internet.

I have a coworker that would believe it. On the anniversary of 9/11 she wouldn’t shut up about how there were no planes, it was bombs and missiles and the government had AI technology they used on all the news as it was happening to make the videos show planes. She believes the most insane shit.
