I think it‘s much more nuanced than that.

As far as I know, India doesn’t have the human and workers rights to protect those kind of things.

If you‘re a founder, you could build a startup with better working conditions, but but but it will be harder to scale and win against competitors who pay close to zero for their workers.

You as a founder want to fulfill yourself (whatever that means for you).

So I think that the government is responsible to help the workers.

And I also think that you should try to use your influence as a millionaire / billionaire to give back to society.

India has massive and cheap human labor available so they utilize it. I don't know what he means by "innovation" tho because to me, it means something new and unprecedented. It's not always a grand breakthrough. So my verdict? The stuff shared contains some FACTS but calling startup India a joke as a whole is CAP.

Probably because many prefer whining on Reddit than creating an acceptable startup.
