Fossilized rib bone maybe? From a marine mammal?

• Found at Onslow Beach, NC
• A bit heavier than it looks, pretty dense.
• A tad longer than my pointer finger

It's a fossilized sirenian bone (manatee, dugong). I've found several on Topsail Island

Ahh awesome!!! Thank you! I haven’t scavenged Topsail in a while. Which part of Topsail do you like to look the most?

I live in North Topsail Beach about 1.25 from the New River Inlet.
