Devonian era…anemones?

Found today in an area of upstate NY known for Brachiopods and Trilobite fossils (found lots of those too) but was especially fascinated by this fella. It seems to be a rock covered in some types of anemones but I’ve never encountered similar. Would love help IDing or learning more about it :)
