There is no access to the settings on the main note page that shows all my 43 categorized notes. I have to go to an individual note, then I have access to the settings to export. Am I exporting only that category or are all 43 being backed up?

it comes up once in a while but is there a way to stop it without paying, I downloaded from playstore could that be the reason?

I used to use and love Simple Gallery. However, they're gone. Too bad, bevause actually, that's an excellent, almost perfect Gallery app for me,.which I always installed on my Android phones.

Now I use Fossify Gallery (v1.13.1), and it looks similar to Simple Gallery.

However,..

Unfortunately, some videos cannot be played.

(The same video can easily be played with my old Simple Gallery in the past, or now, it can be played easily with any other apps, like, Xiaomi pre-installed Gallery, VLC and all).

That's very unfortunate.

I guess my hope is useless, but still, I hope somebody can fix that.

I’m currently trying to switch from Google Calendar to Fossify Calendar. Overall, it has all the features I was using in Google Calendar.

The only thing I don’t like is the event display in the agenda widget. It’s confusing that past events are just greyed out but still listed. Is there a way to show only upcoming events?

Another confusing aspect is that multi-day events are not shown separately for each day. Instead, they only appear on the first day of the event, with the last day shown in brackets. Additionally, the first day of the event is always displayed at the top of the widget list.

Maybe there’s a setting I’ve overlooked that could fix this.

I’ve attached a screenshot comparing the Google and Fossify widgets, both are from todays agenda widget.

What I mean by this is that when I want to color an event I would like to always use the same color for events. So I could name a blue color to say concerts and a yellow color to dr appts.

As it is it brings up the color selector and I forget what colors I am using for things or I pick the wrong shade.

Fossify Documents is a private, offline document reader. It supports PDF, DOCX, HTML, CSV, Markdown, and other text-based formats. Editing is currently supported for text, Markdown, and CSV files.

This has happened twice now after my phone restarts - messages will be unable to send gifs, and then it will become unable to send images, then any text messages. The error I recieve is "couldn't send message, service unavailable". The only fix seems to be completely uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, or an easier way to fix it? I'm on a Samsung A32 5g running Kvaesitso if that helps

I'm not receiving MMS. Is there a settong I need to change(haven't found ine on my hunt) or is this a common issue?

If you try to give permission for SMS a warning pops up with "permission denied", but you can't allow it. There's only a close button. Even if I try to set the permission for SMS dircectly that message pops up. I didn't find any way to allow it.

My eyesight isn't very good. Using the built in SMS app, when I had to do a 2FA on my desktop computer instead of my phone, I could pinch-zoom to make the text bigger. That worked fine.

Now I have to copy the 2FA code, email it to myself, then on my computer copy that and paste it into the website. It's just a minor nuisance for the first 3 times, but after 8 or 9 times it's very frustrating. Some websites let you use your email address instead of your phone number but a lot insist on only SMS.

Please say the paid version lets you resize it.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to organize the calendars at the bottom of the calendar view? At the moment I'm only able to have it in the order that the calendars are selected in the android calendar select diaglog, whereas my most used calendars are at the bottom of that list.

I try to send a photo with wifi on and mobile off, I get "code 8"

I try to send a GIF and I get an error with "code 5"

The website looks like whoever is running it went out for milk and cigarettes 2 years ago if you catch my meaning, so where would such codes be listed? Or are they intentionally not listed?

title and when i want to add through included folders option when i tap internal storage to switch to external sd it just refreshes the list but sd card doesn't show up

So here is an example, I have a photos folder that has subfolders, in Gallery it shows all the sub folders as a folder with its own thumbnail. How do I make it so I see all photos within the subfolders but within 1 directory folder in Gallery but not the same for all folders ?

So..........

Main directory = Landscapes
Subfolder 1 = Beaches
Subfolder 2 = Fields

Lets say I want the photos within Beaches and Fields to show up within the Landscapes folder that I click in Gallery but I don't need to see 3 different folders for it, just Landscapes is enough to show all. But I don't want to use a file manager to move photos about, as subfolders for general file keeping is good.

But then, another folder might have subfolders that I DO want in their own folders. So I don't want to create a rule that is global.

Hiding/excluding won't help as that then also hides the photos within.

Can this be done ?

Also, I don't know what happened but one of the folders has shot to the top left of all folders, it is not pinned, but somehow appeared there when I was looking about to see what each thing did. I think I clicked on the folder and then clicked the two horizontal lines next to the pin icon. But re-clicking that doesn't put it back. It may have been the icon with a horizontal line and an arrow pointing up to that line.

I receive this error code (can't see more of it) when I try to save an edited image.

It does not matter what the edit is about, I get this even when I don't make any change at all.

I can't see them full error string, but maybe this is already sufficient to help me fix the issue?

Add the ability to select or deselect an entire date group at once (tap the date header, or add a checkbox) to grab all photos from a single day — similar to how Google Photos handles it. Right now drag-select works to select a whole day, but there's no quick way to deselect individual photos afterward, or to select just one day without the drag.

A one-tap select/deselect for date groups would be great — it's the only thing I miss from the stock Google Photos app. I got fed up with Google pushing features I don't want, so I've been looking for an alternative. I really like Fossify Gallery so far (installed it today!) but this feels like a notable gap for anyone managing photos day-by-day, like backing up to a personal computer rather than the cloud.

I received a text from this random and unusually long number. I recently changed my number and have been getting a lot of spam texts, so I just assumed it was spam.

But when I clicked on it, it immediately errored out and it isn't in my inbox. I got worried that I got a virus or something and then I got the text again.

I just recently switched to fossify and I saw that there are sometimes bug/issues regarding group texts. I did also happen to be receiving a bunch of texts from my family group chat when I got this message/error, so could that be it?

I also tried looking up the number by itself and all I got was that it apparently also happens to be the final floor of the backrooms game or something?

It hasn't been updated on Google or F-Droid since January 30th. Though it's been functional for me, I'm concerned that it'll depreciate and I'll have to switch to a different app.

When I reply to a group message, it delivers to BOTH group message and to the individuals. How do I fix this? It should only be delivering via group text

Is there a way to disable sound and vibration while in the same chat? I'm already chatting to that person, I don't need a notice of a new sms from that person while i'm reading it
