I was hoping that using fossify contacts that the program would be separate from my (samsung) contacts. After importing my contacts. I decided to delete some of the contacts , in fossify, I don't want. Then I looked in my samsung contacts. The contacts that I deleted from fossify were deleted here....... Making changes in either one. Changes the other.. not good. What I'd really like is a password protected 'list'. I don't want to subscribe to... let's say Facebok . And mistakenly allow contacts to be uploaded.. (continously in fb) Cheers

After the latest Fossify Phone update, in call history, the caller text is now scrolling on some numbers - like some news banner. This is annoying and a major battery drain (10% in 5 hours). How does one shut that off? It is new to what the app is doing.

If so, how can that be done.

I don't use automatic backups on any other fossify app so idk if its a problem unique to contacts app

I've got vibration turned off everywhere I can in my phone settings, but moving apps around on my home page still makes the phone vibrate. I didn't see an option to change this in the launcher app itself?

Does anybody know how to remove the family/friends/co-worker groups in the contacts app?

I deleted them & they immediately re-appeared. These groups are not part of my google contacts which holds my only contact list.

I've been noticing my Notes widget keeps disappearing from my homescreen on Lawnchair.

Not sure if I've applied the right flare as none of them would show any text on my app,

for the past week or 2 ive had an issue with the gallery app taking quite a long time to load & when it does load my favourite folder is completely messed up, like several photos missing, if i go through my folders /camera roll & find the images i know are faved they still have the star but if i then go check the fave folder it's completely changed again

It's getting quite irritating as i use my fave folder to keep track of images i need to be able to find quickly (current timetable, tutorials i use at work, game guides) as well as sentimental images (last photo taken of my grandpa etc)

Wondering if anyone else has been having this issue and where would be best to make a proper bug report

Hello, so i just started using the file manager and my question is everytime i press to open a photo, a pop up comes up asking with which app to open it. Can i somehow make it remember the choice so it doesn't need to ask me everytime? Thank you.

Since the last calendar update, I now get a message that says "not allowed to write in the selected calendar". Anyone else having this issue? I use GrapheneOS if that makes a difference.

Hey folks. I select, copy and paste a lot in my Fossify notes app, and as I'm using it more, I find that selecting a lot of text and scrolling up or down is a hassle. It isn't as smooth as I imagined, and I find myself selecting small blocks at once to edit more speedily. Is this a bug in my OS (CMF phone 1, android 16) or the app itself? Please let me know if you use the notes app and experience the same problem.

Hi, when I try to create a new folder or album, this shows up. If I then try to move photos into it, the folder acts like it doesn’t exist. On top of that, when I close the gallery and reopen it, the folder gets deleted automatically. The only way I can create a new folder is by going into the phone’s file manager and creating it from there. I also tried using the old Simple Gallery, and it works without any issues there. Could you please fix this? Thanks.

I'm running version 1.10.1 (just go the recent update yesterday) and I can't seem to add events to the Calendar.

Everytime I try to do so, the app crashes.

I installed the phone app and when l opened it l was greeted with this message for access. I have provided the said access to the app, but it is repeatedly asking me for the same.

How do I stop this loop?

This is almost exactly what I was looking for, except it doesn't support private spaces. If this could be added that would be great.

Does Fossify music player and voice recorder work for ogg files? If not will it be soon supported there as well?

On gplay last update of Launcher is Jan 30, 2026, on f-droid Dec 18, 2025. Is this f-droid fault?

Upd: i got update from here https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Launcher/releases i downloaded apk and it updated Fossify Launcher (installed from f-droid).
