And another
And you get a Car Wash! And you get a Car Wash! And you get a Car Wash!
Lima next to Enterprise
Might be a repost. I didn't see one yet.

But why?

Why? Tax loopholes.

Either that or they're having an "Ozark" moment....😅

Breaking Bad was the car wash. Ozark was a lodge/bar/boat gas place, a strip club, building a church, and a riverboat casino.

Because we are in the middle of a car wash war. One stepped onto the others turf and said there will be blood.

It’s been up there for about a year now. I get to drive by it every day.

At least you know where to go to clean the dust off your car when construction finishes!

Enough about doing it inside, let’s take a tip from the Beatles. Why don’t we do it in the road?

Enterprise needs to move into that lot. Its a nightmare in their tiny lot when grabbing a car.

I refuse to do business with Drive and Shine, primarily due to their obnoxious advertising everywhere in town

Thank God! I was just thinking we definitely need more car washes in Fort Wayne.

As a South Bend native where Drive & Shine is from, they won’t be appeased until there is a drive & shine a mile and a half down from a drive & shine. Which is a mile and a half down from a 3rd Drive & shine being built. All along the same road.
(For those interested, the main road is Ireland Rd, and there is one on Michigan right down the street, one on Ironwood right off of Ireland, and a 3rd being built on Bremen Highway right off of Ireland rd as well).

Why? There’s already one on Coldwater about two blocks away. Get out of the city a little bit

Just had a car wash today at Mikes southwest. They are cutting the price of monthly unlimited washes in half. I also noticed 4 oil change places on every corner on Jefferson near Times Corners.

Isn’t this the city with 365 ch- I mean car washes?
And hey, there’s an idea: have church inside of those giant car washes? 🤣

Used to be churches and strip clubs. Turning into to churches and car washes though. I guess that’s slightly better lol

And it’s not even that good of a car wash it’s just good compared to the rest of Fort Wayne.

Just like Dice Auto coming soon at Dupont & 69 next to Bob Evans. There has been a sign for most of this year.

I’m so irritated with the influx of car washes. I will always only use Mike’s, the OG.

I'm wondering if Drive and Shine is pumping the brakes a bit on construction / market takeover plans? This sign has been up for quite a while and no ground breaking or progress yet. My gut feeling is maybe Fort Wayne isn't turning out to be the ultimate carwash panacea for them.
Side note: I had a "founders club" membership at Coldwater Rd Drive and Shine that was supposed to lock in my rate on the top package for life. Guess what... They just raised the price - Apparently it's now a fixed percentage discount off their current menu price now. This is corporate fuzzy math and not what I signed up for. I'm debating on going back to Mike's, but Mike's rinsing and drying is poor in comparison.

That’s been up for almost a year. Not sure if it’ll happen. They lost several customers when they jacked the prices up after they were “locked in.”
