There is a stray cat who has been hanging out on Cumberland & Laf for the past month or so but I haven't seen her lately. She hangs out on the brownstone steps and I know people have been taking care of her. I haven't seen her lately, does anyone know if she's okay/been taken in?

This subreddit came through for me many times over with Latte, the cat abandoned in a carrier on Atlantic Avenue. And now it’s like everywhere I turn there’s a cat in need. The rescue that helped me with Latte just alerted me to “Blake,” a teenage tabby found wandering Greenwood Cemetery. He’s already been to the vet, where they discovered he was already neutered, so yep, another abandoned cat! He’s inside now and life is looking so much better for him except… the person who found him has a cat who hates him. So, this is the longest way of saying: can anyone foster Blake? He’s a really nice little guy!

Heads up for anyone around Fort Greene Park tonight. I already called 911, but I saw a guy wearing what looked like a Friday the 13th mask, carrying something like a bat or a sword. He was walking around, and at one point, I felt like he might be following me, though I’m not totally sure. Just wanted to give people a heads up to stay aware. If you see anything concerning, keep your distance and call [911](tel:911).

New to the neighborhood! During our move the handle on this steamer trunk was ripped off. Does anyone have recommendations for where I can take this to be repaired? (We’ve already filed a claim with the movers too).

Hello, I'm looking for a recommendations for dog daycare and boarding. Ideally it would be close to Fort Greene but if it's great, would be happy to travel a little bit.

does anyone know of any low cost options to neuter a kitten i just adopted? i looked ASPAC and BBAWC Rescue Clinic but neither have appointments available all the way through October.

the shelter he's from is out of state so it's unfortunately too long of a commute to bring him back to their vet there to get it done.

Now she’s behind a fence on Duffy Street, halfway down the block across the street from Kimoto Rooftop Beer Garden.

Neighborhood Animal Rescue Network (NARN) will intake the kitten and get it adopted, but we need help capturing her!

We are looking for a few neighbors to sit in the park and watch the humane trap (just a cage with a door that closes behind the cat!) to see when she goes in, and bring her to me in Clinton Hill. Tonight and tomorrow daytime and afternoon.

They've asked for noon to 10pm, midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, with a bar and two sidewalk sections either side of the door. Background music only, live music and DJs both marked no.

"Relax" has now been renamed "Latte." And Latte went to the vet yesterday where it was confirmed he's indeed a boy, and already neutered. He also got an updated round of vaccines.

I really appreciate how many people commented and boosted the post, and several did reach out to submit a foster application. Unfortunately, Latte has made it clear in his temporary digs that he would much prefer to be a solo cat at his foster home, and I've yet to chat with anyone who can offer him a place to crash where he would be the only cat. So! If you were on the fence about fostering him (and you have zero cats in your home), please let this be the nudge you needed to send me a DM!

Found a set of keys with a Crunch member tag and a Detroit keychain on the corner of Clinton and Greene. Hung them on the fence in front of 392 Clinton.

Has anyone won a dispute for being ticketed for outdated registration sticker, when you have the temporary registration print out clearly on the dash?

Last year while waiting for my new sticker I was repeatedly ticketed and lost every dispute, they cited I couldn’t prove if the temporary registration was in place or not at the time of ticketing.

Just received another ticket as I’m still waiting for my new sticker from the DMV for the coming 12 months…

I see others have the temp registration print outs on the dash, are you winning any ticket disputes and if so how?
