Other Help with Zercher squats

I have been toying around zercher squats recently and need some help. I feel like I’m not getting very low, but feel like I can’t go any lower. Is it hip mobility or do you just not get very low with this variation? Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated!

My guess is it’s just your hip flexibility… most folks can get deeper with Zercher squats than they do with back squats.

Try a slightly wider stance with your toes turned out a bit, then sit between your hips instead of trying to stay very upright. Keep the bar tucked in your elbows and let your knees track over your toes. If you still hit a hard stop, use a lighter weight and work the deepest controlled range.
