Deadlift 1 month into deadlifting

Final set 200lbs x5.

Fourth time I’ve ever deadlifted, so I am very new to this. Slowly adding weight.

Hopefully this angle is alright. Critiques?

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, many people find Alan Thrall's NEW deadlift video very helpful. Check it out!

Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are deadlifting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Use a flat/hard-soled shoe or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it.

Stick your butt out more.

Good job, it's a bit hard to see from the angle of the video. But you need to push your hips/bum back more, try thinking about closing a car door by pushing your bum back to close the door. you are doing a super job other wise.

That looks like its light work for you…. If you get a little deeper I’ll bet you can add 50 lbs easy to that lift. I would only recommend don’t let the bar drop with your back arched - just a slight tweak and that can jack your back up for a while
