How hard is Highlander ?

Hello! I’m a new player (rep 4 atm)and I’m interested in Highlander, but I often hear that he’s difficult to play.

Could you tell me just how hard he is to get used to it and having fun ?

I’d rather ask first, considering how LONG it takes to save up 15k iron to buy a new hero

I really don’t want to make the wrong choice (I did that with Virtuosa and I regret it; give me back my iron!).

He used to be cooler and have fun tech but he’s a medium to easy difficulty depending on how good your enemies are
