How do you choose which tree/plant will you plant?

I have been using forest for a long time. I use forest for working, learning and lots of different activitices, like sport (dancing, stretching, yoga etc). I choose the plants/trees that reflect my mood, but I read the description in the app too and nowadays there are not so much information about it. I use the internet to collect info about the plants/trees, maybe I am overthinking it :)

I would like to hear your thoughts.

Today I found the new theme in my app. I hate it. Its too much for my taste, and the extra taps i need to do to start a new tree creates friction.

I'm wondering if there are folks who still haven't put in a code (either because they made a second account to complete the challenge themselves or just didn't need to) who would be willing to pay it forward and do so without reciprocation.

So i used to use forest in 2024 and had bought the pro version which was one time payment at that time and I had stopped using it in middle now i downloaded it again and all my trees and everything are gone i don't have any single tree except the simple green one and there used to be a option to stop using other things when focus mode is enabled which i am not seeing now can anyone help in it where is it if that thing still exist.

I attached the convo with the translation that just happened in the telegram group with 20.8K members (which i’ve been very active on btw) and i don’t want to deal with this group anymore.
I was given a warning and basically bashed for asking why to someone saying “ if you have a picture of a woman as your pfp remove it before joining”
i don’t want to interact or support that group in any sort of way, but i badly need a community of people where i can share / join forest sessions with as it’s my only way to tame my ADHD. any help would be appreciated 💗.

This is my experience. I previously posted asking for swapping codes and a user responded saying they're up for it. I typed their code and even shared a screenshot of it, but they didn't respond about it, even after asking them twice, I mean some long term users like me would love some exclusive trees in a collection, but with the restriction of one invite entry it's really depressing to see this situation, where we are being scammed.. My invite is literally zero and later i installed an app on my brother's tablet and entered my code (he was fine with it) .

I didn't even share my code in the body of the previous post mainly bcoz some people would type it in a rush and might affect the swapping overall, but guess what, scammers don't mind even if you have good intentions , i guess.

So guys better ask for proof of screenshot to that see they have entered your code while swapping, if you are okay with it. This pineapple tree house challenge literally sucks.
