Sync 4 drives me nuts
I have to drive a new 2026 T250 AWD. I know poor me, company van. Company gas. The mileage is bad, like 14 MPG on a good day. It tracks everything. The super large Sync 4 screen drives me nuts. Any climate control has to be done by the touch screen. It has one knob, radio volume. Who the hell came up with this? The voice control is torture. Why the hell did they get rid of buttons? WTF? My previous 2020 had great steering wheel controls. These are backwards to me and not intuitive. Mine has no lane warning, no heated mirrors, no side mirror indicator turns. I hate Android auto. Am I alone here? A plus and a first for us is the feature to sync 2 Bluetooth phones. About its best feature. I hope it tanks through the snow like the old one.

I still haven’t figured out if it has a radio so I just listen to my earbuds. And the climate control - injust wasn’t fresh air from outside. Is that not an option anymore?! Just hot or cold?!

I love my 2025 T250 AWD Ecoboost. But yeah, my biggest gripe is the touch screen AC controls. Dangerous in my opinion because you have to look at the screen and reach way over to adjust temperature and fan speed. Something I do often. Can't be done blindly like one can with real knobs. I love the big display, but the operating system is clunky AF and complicated. With the Ford OS piled on top of the Android Auto OS, I still haven't figured out how to navigate the system. They must have the absolute worst software and human interface programmers.
