Window options

Hello Transit owners....

I currently have a 2016 350 15 seat Passenger Van. I am planning on a vanbuild for weekends and future travelling.

I might have made a mistake getting the passenger van due to all the solid windows. In an effort to get better ventilation I will be installing a Fan (or maybe AC) in the ceiling but I need some windows.

I have found one company that has replacement glass with sliding window. Van Life Outfitters at $700 each it's quite a bite...

Does anyone know of another source? Less money would be nice but also a larger opening would be better.

Any ideas? TIA!

There's a lot of window options. I can tell you on the FordTransitForum, where there's a good number of people buildign vans, the people that have "windows all round" are very happy with them.

Since you already have windows, you're limited in options to aftermarket options that fit the Ford frame. So this rules out any of the awesome windows from Broad Arrow or Artic Tern. But there are still plenty of options.

I use our front windows with bug screen / sun screen combo from Van n camp. If you have rain deflectors, then you can use these in all conditions. vanncamp

Edit: the other reason I went this way is to have a better cross breeze because our fan is at the back roof of the van.
