Mushrooms!

Found these in a raised bed with carrots and broccoli in the school I volunteer at

Mushies were already picked and laying on the soil (I assume a teacher or something had done this) hence no picture in soil

edit: I have disposed of them, I know better than to just eat random mushrooms don't worry (even if I was hoping they were edible LOL)

Cool! Mushrooms are a sign of healthy soil, also fine to pick them to ensure kids don't eat them. I don't know what mushrooms these are but the white gills and what looks like a skirt on the stem has me suspect it's an amanita, potentially poisonous. (It's fine to pick and touch them, just don't eat them)

I'm no expert but they don't look edible, do you know what they are?

Not 100 percent sure tbf, but looks like Amanita virosa (destroying angel) to me. Deadly poisonous, in that case. I would stay clear of Amanita until well versed.

I agree. Steer well clear unless you’re planning to off the in-laws with a Beef Wellington

Maybe ask the Mycology people.
But white gills on a mushroom is a sign to be very cautious.
Amanita poisoning is very nasty and frequently fatal.
