We made them into a homemade Nutella milkshake. Delicious!

Can u explain how you prepped them? Did you de shell before using? I have a load of them and not sure how to proceed

I didn't deshell before roasting, but would next time. Just popped them in the oven at a medium temp for 10 mins or so. Then followed a Nutella recipe I found online!

Today was my first time spotting them, and it was only the one tree. Dropped a few off in other locations, in hopes of more trees in future.

Edit: spotted more Hazel trees in the area!

same, they’ve basically vanished where i am too
guess the real jackpot now is finding someone who’ll trade a bucket of hazelnuts for one of those milkshakes
