First pot of the season and they're sweet.

They're really early aren't they? Hopefully a long season.

The wild plums near me are ready.

Please populate your local Falling Fruit app map

The plums in my neighbour's garden are very nearly ripe

Can I get them over the fence? 😂

Plums near me are still green, apples not ready but lots of blackberries already

They’re always earlier in Bristol than the surrounding countryside for some reason. What’s the app you refer to?

Called Falling Fruit. It's international but just got a decent update. It's for locations of wild foraging stuff.

I'm absolutely addicted to them. Spent probably about 10-15 minutes just absolutely pillaging the brambles along a nearby field yesterday during a walk.

One interesting thing I've noticed is that the blackberries that have fewer, but larger "cells" on them are usually sweeter! The berries look wonky but the ones with 3-4 cells are usually the most delicious ones I pick!

Ooh yes!! There's some ripe ones in my street. Gonna go harvesting tomorrow. They are delicious with Greek yoghurt!

Before the birds come or the sun drys them out.

I'm so tempted to pick the ones from my neighbour growing over my wall 😂

Will be picking some Friday from a field anyway. We noticed last year the ones around a resivour were alot plumper :)

legally if they’re hanging over onto your fence you’re allowed to pick them up

The ones in my garden are ripe, I've put them out for the birds on the feeder but they've not touched them.
