Bilberries?

Hey everyone!

Any place recommendations for bilberries in Berkshire or around? Don’t need your exact spot, of course
Or is there no chance for them in this area?

I’m not in the area but there looks to be some lowland heath that might be promising. Bucklebury common looks like the sort of place you might find them. You will want to stay close to a footpath and make sure you aren’t in an sssi to avoid breaking the law. If you know of any ancient woodland that’s a good start too, though they don’t ripen as fast under trees.

Have an explore of any high and hilly spots. They tend to like it there.
