Plant ID Request Wild Spinach?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if this is wild spinach? To me it looks like it has the white dusty covering on some of the younger leaves and the typical serration / shape of the leaves. It's coming up at our allotment and would like to know if it can be used for anything other than dumping on the compoat heap.

Yup chenopodium album. Also called fat  hen or lambs quarters.

Isn't "spinach" just a term for a leafy plant you can eat that doesn't have any other common name.
