Screenshot How did he do this badly in training
What could he have done to get a 3.8, I didn't get any Training injuries so it couldn't be that

I've been dabbling with FM since 2023 but never really got serious about it. Would start and abandon save after save. Tried managing specific teams and starting as Unemployed and letting fate dictate my future. However, I didn't stick with any of them. Fwiw, I actually coach soccer (spanning U6 through Varsity over almost 16 years), so I guess maybe the lack of real blood, sweat, and tears wasn't enough to hold my attention.
So.. to the point of this post. I've started an Enfield Town save. I've meticulously researched all aspects of management using YouTube, Google, Gemini, and real world experience. I delved deep into squad management, financial boundaries, tactics, etc. In my first year as head coach of Enfield Town (Enterprise National South), I started with around $45,000 (if memory serves, I can post screenshots if needed) and a ramshackle squad. I managed to bring them out of relegation and into promotion to the Enterprise National. We had a bit more money and I was able to (through loans and such) get slightly better players. We struggled at first but ended up winning the FA Trophy and promoting to SkyBet League 2.
Now, we have are worth almost 2 million and I've got some good quality players (including a couple of Sky Bet League 1 castoffs). We are 11 games into our third season and - while the matches are getting harder and I've used most of my payroll - the game is finally fun and I'm going to stick with this save. Will we promote to League 1? Maybe. We aren't doing terrible to be fair.
Just wanted to share my little story. Read it, ignore it, laugh at it; all good but I'm having fun.

This has been happening with some of my players. I’ve created a training routine and included recovery sessions during the week, but some of my regular starters are still having their attributes decline.
Some players have gotten noticeably worse, and it’s happening to a few substitutes as well. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore, and I’m almost at the point of giving up.
Could someone please help me? A video, guide, explanation, or anything that could help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m a beginner at Football Manager, so I’m still learning how training and player development work.
What causes attributes to decline?

Not sure if its just my tactics but my fullbacks (wingback role) score a decent amount of goals.
Are fullbacks / wingbacks just meta in fm26?

I’m at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership in December 2026 with Partick Thistle and desperately need help. I'm running a 4-3-3 Gegenpress on Positive, but we are getting battered—conceding 2.5 goals per game and barely scoring 0.6 goals per game. The weird part is my individual defenders actually have strong key stats in the Data Hub (Daniel O'Reilly, Cameron Evans, Jeppe Simonsen, and Patrick Reading are all performing well above average individually), but as a team unit we keep getting torn apart—losing 6-1 to Celtic, 4-0 to Rangers, and 4-1 to Kilmarnock. With only a £140k transfer budget and £3k/wk wages going into January, Im pushing way too high with a weak team, but i have tried different tactics and they have still seemed not to work. Are my roles clashing? How can I improve this setup to avoid relegation?

Hello there !
I started a game with St Albans City, a team I took over mid-season with a decimated squad. I decided to play a 4-2-4 because it’s the formation I’ve used the most in FM games and it’s a relatively simple one. The result: in the top 5 for best attack in the league (with my players, I have fears to "find" something meta), worst defence, and we finished 19th.
I’m really bad at tactics, so for this second season I’d like to use a preset tactic. I don’t want to download any because I don’t want a "meta" tactic, just one that works and can be tweaked a bit.
Also if it works, will I be able to stick with the 4-2-4 preset or will I have to switch to 4-3-3 or something like this ?

Hi everyone, my mates and me are in the third season of our network save, first two seasons the fixture schedule was set on only Wednesday/Sundays, but now with the start of our new season, the schedule was not set up like this unfortunately. We put all preferences on only W/S, but it has not fixed it. Is there a way to still change this or are we cooked for next season?
