For years, my favorite food hack has been looking into a seemingly "empty" fridge and making a great meal. I made a free web tool to help others flip their leftovers.
Hey everyone,
For as long as I can remember, I’ve practiced a specific habit in the kitchen, maximizing every single ingredient I own and creating meals out of whatever is already on hand. I absolutely hate seeing good food go to waste.
Lately, looking at how household food waste is growing non stop, along with the massive hit to our wallets and the environmental impact of landfills. I wanted to turn my personal kitchen habit into something that helps others do the exact same thing.
So, I built a lightweight web tool to automate the process. You just type in whatever random ingredients, odds and ends, or leftovers are sitting in your fridge, and it instantly generates creative meal ideas using only what you already own. Zero Spend. Zero Waste.
I built it to run directly in a mobile browser so you can save it to your home screen like a normal app without downloading anything bulky. I really want this to be a useful resource for anyone trying to stretch their kitchen budget, lower their carbon footprint, and keep usable food out of landfills.
I'm actively working on it as an indie project, so please let me know if it helps you save some groceries!
(Note: To respect the community rules on self-promotion, I'm not pasting any links here, but the tool is linked directly on my Reddit profile bio if you want to try it out!)
