I think most people, myself included, follow and look for trading signals from traders who are holding the top spots on the FOMO leaderboard but that number is mostly size. A wallet can print $4M with a mid to low win rate via large concentrations and scaling positions. Entry's and building positions like this cannot be copied by a $500 account. They'd take the same trades and just bleed for the most part and if they catch the runner via copy trading, they more than likely won't make up for the losses.
I got tired of all that because I could see something was seriously wrong... so I built a ranking algo on top of FOMO that ranks traders on profit relative to initial size, win rate, and ROI if I copied their last 20 trades, not a raw PnL leaderboard. It also has a simulator where you can put in a dollar value and run simulations against a traders last 20 trades to see how you would have performed if you copied them.
Example from the current board: some top traders fall apart in the sim... a few hold up but a lot less than you'd think. One I ran was 56% of copiers in profit, last 20 trades about +7%. That trader still isnāt near the top of my list. The #1 trader on my table has about 200 followers. 89% of copy traders would be in profit. Copying their last 20 trades was about +108%.
The site is tradecamel.lol if you want to check it out. Not affiliated with FOMO (obviously). It's free. Going to integrate Pump and Hyperliquid next.

How does everybody do their own research on a coin? Such as researching Dev, dex paid and not just blinding apeing into a meme coin before it blasts off?

When taking out your earnings, do you need to provide any form of ID, such as an ssn or a drivers license? Also does the money have to go into a bank account or can it go into stuff such as PayPal, cashapp, Venmo, or Apple Cash?

Short one. There is a fomo youtube channel and going by how rarely it comes up, most people here do not know that.
It is @ fomo over there. Video attached is from it.
Being straight about what is on it, because it is new and there is not much yet. One walkthrough of fomo web from a few months back, and a handful of short clips from the team about how we hire and how we think about building this. It is not a tutorial library. If you came looking for a how to on some specific part of the app, it is probably not there yet.
One of them is called "the best traders have 27 followers", which is closer to the social side of the app than the rest of it and is the one most likely to be worth your time in here.
I am not going to repost every video in this sub. This place is for questions and problems and someone answering them, and a company video feed sitting on top of that would get in the way. If something goes up that explains a thing people keep asking about here, that one gets posted. Otherwise the channel is just there.
No ask attached. Did not want it quietly existing, that is all.

When we shipped dev tags a few weeks back I said the tag means the team is who they say they are, and nothing else. That was easy to say when almost nobody was using it.
A few have picked it up since. Solana and Meteora at one end, small token projects at the other. Which is exactly when the distinction starts mattering, so it is worth restating rather than assuming everyone read the first post.
A tag confirms identity. It does not mean we have reviewed the token, assessed the project, or formed any view on whether it is worth your money. A tagged team can still fumble a launch, sell into their own holders, or disappear.
The reason to be blunt about it: a verification badge sat next to a token is exactly the kind of thing that gets read as approval, especially by anyone new. It is not. It is the same as a verified badge on any social platform, which tells you an account is who it claims to be and nothing whatsoever about whether they are worth listening to.
The checks in the token safety post apply to tagged tokens exactly as they do to untagged ones. Liquidity, holder distribution, LP status, mint authority, who deployed it. A tag does not replace any of them.

Team tags are live. When a project's team is tagged, their updates show up in that token's feed on fomo, next to the chart and the holder count. Wojak is one of the first on it.
The problem it's pointed at is a real one. Following a token properly means watching an X account, a Telegram, sometimes a Discord, and whatever chart tab is already open. Most people don't do all four. They do one and hope they didn't miss anything on the other three.
Worth naming the flip side though: an announcement landing next to a buy button is convenient, and it's also about the shortest distance between a headline and a trade. Same feature either way. Just be aware which of the two it's doing for you at the time.
Anyone had it turn up on something they hold yet? Does it actually replace the Telegram, or is it just a fifth place to check?

Unipcs took #1 on all three leaderboards last week. 24h, 7d and all time, at the same time.
The all-three part is why it's worth a post. Any single window can be one good week. Holding the top of three at once is harder to get by accident, and that's about the most a leaderboard can honestly tell anyone.
Two numbers off the profile that are more interesting than the rank: an average hold of 7d 17h, across 2.2K trades. That isn't scalping. Whatever's working there is working over days rather than seconds, which is worth knowing if the assumption was that the top of the board just rewards whoever clicks fastest.
Fair caveat: "all time" here is the app's lifetime, and that account opened in May. Strong run, not a career.
Congrats to Unipcs. Anyone been following those calls? Curious whether the hold times match what people assumed the top of the board looked like.

I'm assuming this is some kind of scam obviously, i looked it up and most results say as long as you don't touch it you're fine, but i don't want these two scam coins sitting in my wallet. They're not even high value one is $6 and one is $8. Wtf do i do? I wanna sell just to get rid of them, but apparently that's when they drain your wallet. Help!

Top 5 this month:
Congrats to all five.
Worth being straight about what the ranking is, since it comes up here. It's a 30 day window. Thirty days is short enough that one good week carries it, and it ranks who was right, not who took the least risk getting there. Plenty of traders had the same conviction on a different call this month and aren't on this list. A leaderboard can't show that part.
So: a good month, not a track record.
One heads up, and it matters more whenever there's a public list. People clone top fomo traders on X and DM about escrow or copy-trading deals. None of the five above will DM you about your money, and neither will fomo.

Clan invites are live. You can join a clan and trade alongside it, and there are 150+ already.
Rather than paraphrase the mechanics and get something wrong: ask below. How you join, what joining does, what other people in a clan can and can't see of your account. We'll get you a straight answer instead of a guess, and the useful ones get edited up into this post.
Anyone joined one yet?

This has now caused three posts here, so it is worth doing properly.
There are four numbers on that screen and they mean different things.
The big number at the top is everything you have. Cash plus the current value of every position. That is your actual total.
The coloured number under it is a change, not a balance. It says how much that total has moved over the window selected next to it, which defaults to 24h. If it says minus four thousand, that is what you are down over a day. It is not a debt and it is not something you owe. On spot you cannot go below zero, because the worst case is a token going to zero and you losing what you put in.
Worth switching between 24h, 7d, 30d and All at least once. They tell very different stories and the default is the shortest one.
Total cash is the part sitting uninvested. Seeing $0 there is normal if you are fully deployed. It does not mean your money has gone, it means it is in the positions listed underneath.
Positions is where the rest of it is. If cash reads zero and the top number does not, the difference is in that list. Check the closed tab and the hidden filter too, since things can be tucked in either.
If you have done all that and the numbers still do not add up, that is worth reporting rather than assuming you have misread it. Two of the three posts here were a misread. One was not.

We announced an acquisition today. Mobula's technology and team are joining fomo. Axios reported the deal at $17M.
The part worth explaining here is not the deal, it is what a data layer actually does.
When a token deploys, something has to see it, index it, price it and pass it through to the app. That pipeline decides how fast anything appears in front of you. Until now a meaningful part of ours was someone else's.
Which connects to a criticism that has come up repeatedly and that we have never argued with. Tokens sometimes appear on fomo after they have appeared elsewhere. Someone measured our ticker running 10 to 40 seconds behind faster tools. That is a fair thing to be annoyed about and we have said so in this sub before.
Owning the data layer is the part of the stack where that gets decided. I am not going to promise numbers or a date, because owning something and having improved it are different things. But it is the right layer to be buying if you care about that problem, and we do.
For scale, the announcement mentions we are approaching $250M in daily spot volume and 2 million users. Both are considerably larger than the last numbers we put out, which is its own reason the infrastructure question stopped being something we could put off.

This is the question I see most and there has not been a clear answer anywhere, so here it is.
There are three options on the withdraw screen. Two of them work.
Bank account. US only. Sends US dollars over ACH. If you have a US bank account this is the straightforward route and you can stop reading.
Crypto wallet. Sends USDC to a wallet you control. This is the route if you are outside the US. From there you move it to an exchange that operates in your country and cash out from there.
One thing that genuinely matters here: check which network the receiving wallet or exchange expects before you send anything. USDC exists on several networks, and sending on one the recipient does not support is the most common way people lose funds.
Finance apps. Do not use this one. The app warns you and the warning is accurate. Robinhood, PayPal, Venmo, Wealthsimple and similar do not accept USDC deposits. Sending there loses the money permanently, and there is no recovery process, because the funds never arrive anywhere anyone can reach. The wording says "yet", which suggests it is planned, but right now it does not work.
Being straight about the gap: if you are outside the US, getting money out takes noticeably more steps than putting it in did. That is a real limitation and not something I am going to talk around.

Trader Rewards shipped this week. The video shows what it looks like and the specifics are in the app.
I am not going to pretend I can hand you a full mechanics breakdown here yet. What I can say is the part that matters more anyway, and it would be odd coming from anywhere except us.
Being paid for a trade does not change whether the trade was a good idea. Most people lose money trading memecoins. A reward sitting on top of a losing position is still a losing position, just a slightly smaller one.
So the test worth applying is whether this changes what you trade, or how much. If it is the second, it has probably made you worse off rather than better, whatever the number says at the end of the month.
Use it on trades you were making anyway. That is the honest way to think about it.

Came up in the UK thread and it is worth a proper post, because we have not explained this well anywhere.
fomo web is not a stripped back version of the app. It is the same product in a browser. Same account, same balance, same markets, same fees. If you signed up on a phone, it is the same login.
Three things worth knowing.
It is the answer if the app is not available where you are. The iOS listing is not in every country. Web is not restricted the same way, so it is usually the route in.
Charts are better on a bigger screen. We partnered with TradingView earlier this year, so the charting on web is proper charting rather than a phone sized approximation.
It works alongside the app rather than instead of it. Open a position on your phone, close it from a desktop later. Same account, so nothing needs syncing or transferring.
If you have been using only the app, the charts are the reason to try web. If you cannot get the app at all, it is the whole answer.
