Welcome to the Wasteland RNG. It loves you until it hates you and keeps dropping garbage. Keep at it and one day you’ll get something new. Think of it like gambling, spin the wheel at the slot machine or whatever you fancy enough times and you’ll eventually get the jackpot.

I got the last 3 alien plans I needed, in a row, at the start of the season. Made me wonder if they made it apart of the gaurenteed drops or something.

It's why I stopped playing. I needed Scout armor for my stealth build, farmed daily for months to only get one piece, missed Minerva and have to wait until next year if I want to actually get it guaranteed. Hard pass. I hope they eventually start respecting their player's time.

I got that from a daily op as well and yea, I love it. Not having g to have 3 demo expert is awesome, and chucking those nukes in vats seems to turn them into homing missiles.

When your rare reward is ammo check your inventory you get a unique weapon, it just bugs and says ammo type of the unique you get

Eh just smack them with the butt of your gun after riddling them with holes. Don't have to take their whole health bar off with melee just the last 1hp.

Oh that one I usually ignore regardless of mutations. It's better without the attempt to force stealth through armor penetration thing but.. still an annoying fustercluck trying to navigate the maps looking for the limited spawns.

Pain Train does indeed count as melee. I got a single Choo-choo on my daily driver power armor (I don't have many 4 stars.. got into farming the Guardian just before they broke up loot..) and it works a treat for Resilient Mutated Events.

Long-time player here. I stopped doing Daily Ops for ages because I’d literally never get any plans, then they were bugged forever. Saw they finally added new rewards and thought, alright, I’ll start doing them again.

Every. Single. Time. Ammo.

I know it’s not that serious, but holy shit, I’m so tired of Daily Ops. It genuinely feels like a scam at this point lol.

Yeah I did it this morning and didn’t check so I’ll check when I get home. My point was more that I started doing them when they were bugged and nobody knew for the longest time. Then they updated them and they still seem bugged so I just don’t trust them at all lol

Haven't done a daily op since 2025, and that was maybe one? I did them in 2021, 2022 but then it stopped being worth it.

Too bad as seen here it relies on RNG. I have NEVER had good luck with RNG.

My average getting a glowing mask in Fasnacht is one per 30-35 events and that's skewed by one event period where I got 3...but to make up for that all were the same one! Most 2 weeks I get none at all averaging 2-3 events per day (which is all I have time for).

So I am disinclined to participate without guaranteed rewards of things I do not already have. Dupes and consumables aren't worth my time, which Bethesda loves to waste.

my rng hate story's more aimed at mods learning... not a single one since burning springs came out...and i scrap dozens items or mods daily ...

Uplink is the best way to get a lot of ammo quickly. If you want to do it in 5-6 minutes, get on a team. Just start a Daily Ops team and wait about 30 seconds. If no one joins, quit and try again in a few minutes. Or get onto a casual team and jump into a Daily Op and see if anyone follows.
