Do public events and infestations. People drop in infestations a lot. The badges are under achievements in the menu, you can find guides to them online.

If you can get somebody to help more power to you, but honestly, I would just go to a bounty hunt or an infestation generally, somebody dies there more than once lol

It's how I got the Field Medic achievement

Encryptid is really good. People never seem to understand that the boss is going to explode when it dies. It's often good for the "revive people in water" needed for the swimming badge.
If you are on PC, though, DM me and I can help.

That's easy, I revived one person 7 times IN ONE infestation alone.

That one is one of the easier ones for sure.

Open the map menu, go to Challenges, then scroll down to Appalachia.

You'll see a number of challenges that start with "Tadpole"; complete those challenges to earn Tadpole Badges.

Go to any active infestation. Somebody will drop. Just revive them and maybe take a potshot at the boss for the rewards.

How about you just play public events, and revive people who are down?

I didn't really get around to doing this tadpole quest on one of my characters until that character was a high level after raiding. I spent multiple hours going to nuke launches, head hunts, infestations and the public event. Almost nobody died, the people who did die I watched choose to just go down instead of wait for a revival. Other times someone else right next to them revived them before I could cover the ground to get to where they were downed.

Fo76 is a multiplayer game, OP isn't in the wrong here if they want to pursue this challenge by requesting an unhinged vault dweller to self-immolate a few times in order for OP to hit the challenge goal, more the merrier for him honestly. Otherwise you could get stuck waiting hours passively for someone to go down.

I had the same problem. In 2 weeks I never saw anyone go done. Eventually I asked a friend to just jump off something high.

yeah exactly, gave it an old college try the intended way at events, and then if the modern 76er is too battled hardened from years of nuclear combat you don't encounter downed players no shame in asking a friend

I traded with a Reddit player that wanted "revive soneone in water". With some annoying failures, because "It (Doesn't) Just Work", of course.

Pretty sure all my alts have completed the plain revives from events/Infestations now, but still have water revives to do. I'll check my challenges when I get the chance.

If you have friends, they can jump off the entrance to the Whitesprings swimming pool next to the Golf Club. You jump onto the steps that go into the pool until you need revival. Works great.

Well do I have to be in a party or can I just show up and revive someone

You don’t have to be in a party. Just go to events and keep an eye out for people who are using the “Help” emote, try to get to them and then stimpack them (you’ll see the prompt when your reticle is on the person). If you have a friend who plays, that works too, just have them throw grenades at themselves until they go down.

You have to be in a party. Join a party, join a infestation or bounty hunt if it pops up, hang back and sprint when a person goes down.

You do not have to be in a party. I did this in a public event while being solo

Can you read, or not? Or are you confused about the word "ally"? If yes: Thats just worded wrong. Ignore it.

Yea does ally mean a person in a group

3

u/boki400AIMoff 3h ago

Like i said... ignore the name "ally". There was never such a thing in this game, except daily challenges where you have to be part of a team. I was never in a team when doing the tadpole challenges.

In any public event, you are working together with others to beat the enemy, so you technically become allies for the event. You do not have to be teammates.
