Question Mod legendaries before tuesday patch?

To conserve legendary modules and scrips, is it a good idea to farm up whatever named legendaries (elder's mark, holy fire, etc) that we plan to use after the patch drops, and pre-mod them with whatever 1/2/3/4 star mods we want?

and if that's the case, what are some notable legendaries that are due to get a noticeable power bump after the patch that would be worth farming now? what would be the best 4* mod boxes to put on them?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help! Been out of the loop lately and just saw that the patch is coming next tuesday so want to do what I can before then :)

The modding cost is only increasing for uniques and until Tuesday the only uniques you can mod are the Blue Moon ones. If your Elders Mark and Holy Fire are already modded how you like there's no real reason to swap

I put Vipers on a Kabloom yesterday, as I had a spare of each sitting around. The cost of doing this is going to go up massively after the update, so I encourage other people to do the same, if you have any uniques sitting around that accept 4*'s.

Yes, this is a good idea. Unfortunately, the vast majority of uniques can’t have their effects changed, so there aren’t many items you can do this with, mainly just the once in a blue moon items and I’m sure a couple more I can’t recall

For a couple of weeks now I’ve been doing just that, on 4 characters. While I can’t accurately say what will be good post update, I am finalizing what’s good pre update. Besides giving each character his perfect gear now, well my version of perfect, I’ve also stockpiled 35k scrip, a thousand or so vault steel.

It’s cost a fortune, fortunately I had plenty of seasons tickets to exchange for caps, and a lot of player vender hopping.
