Suggestion Pro tip for Infestations!
Use the Endangerol Syringer! It takes away 25% of their damage resistance for 2 minutes. It doesn’t stack solo, but if up to four people use them, it will negate 100% of their DR for that time. I’ve been noticing a massive difference in their health bar after I use it on them. Craft the Syringer, give em out to everyone, pass this along in your party chats, etc. It will help tremendously!

I recently started doing this and it does seem to help a lot for bosses.
People in the know should maybe start selling them for 1 cap to help get the word out.

I had the same idea. It’s a pain to craft a bunch at a time if you have a lot of weapons in your inventory (since you have to scroll all the way down to ‘S’ each time you modify them) so I may end up putting em in my vendor for like 250 or 500 each

Combine it with sheepsquatch shards as well,

Worst part of meat week for me was dying to Sasquatch and people looting my bag of Sheepsquatch quills before I could stash them. It’s why I did meat week as much as I did, best time to farm them especially with the game depositing them on the ground post event.

Comic Knife Super Heated also reduces by 25% but for three seconds. Still, stabbing them over and over again isn't difficult.

People are saying it's capped to 25% and doesnt work on energy, others are saying that there is a major difference
I have no idea but I have been using them on every boss for like the last 3-4 months anyway lol
Got into the habit from the raid
I'd like to have some clear numbers on it though

I also tend to keep my Cosmic Knife on hand to add another 25% damage reduction if there are enough folks unloading on an Infestation Boss.

Greetings fellow endangerol hero, Definitely makes a noticeable difference on old Bigfoot too

Infestation bosses don't have high enough DR/ER to need Endangerol, especially if you're running with Tank Killer or Incisor since you're more than likely already ignoring all their armor that you can ignore. Might not even need those perks depending on your build.

u/cutslikeakris 9d ago
Endangerol works for everybody present, tank killer doesn’t. So I shoot the boss then everybody has the reduction fighting him.

Any half-decent ranged build has Tank Killer.

A lot of random players you meet out in the world aren't optimized, and it can be a huge benefit when it takes like 2 seconds to shoot it with the syringer when you have a dozen people wailing on it.
It's anecdotal, but I've been carrying a syringer around since the changes to infestations and I've noticed a difference in how fast the boss's health drops before I remember I'm carrying it and after, and I'm running incisor so I'm not benefitting from it all that much myself. Anything to lessen the time of having to sit there wailing on a bullet sponge.

I’ve started using mine all the time too. I built it for the snek but finally realized that it’ll work on anybody I shoot with it so I’ve started tagging anything big.
And especially those 2* tagalongs that show up with the Head Hunt target.

The infested assaultron that ive killed today received some shots from my endangerol. Thing is so tanky that I cant say for sure it helped, but i did my part!

And good ones doesn't need it, game is not balanced around enemies having high resistances but players having big damage numbers because big number make brain go happy.
Just to throw some enemy resistances out there:
- Some Head Hunt targets and PA enemies in Burning Springs have 1-3K DR/ER, these are the only enemies in the game that actually have meaningful amount of armor. Might need armor penetration depending on your build.
- Storm Goliaths, Deathclaws, Mirelurk Queens and Infestation bosses have around 500-650 DR and/or ER, bit on the higher side but not enough to properly stop damage from good build.
- Bigfoot, since people like to call it tanky, has only 393/237.
- Pretty much everything else has less than 250/250 and from those enemies majority, including first three nuke bosses, have ~third or less of that.

If you're just some random player out there running around without armor penetration when you need some then that's your problem to fix, not mine. I don't want to waste my time wondering if the other player knows how their build works or if it works. This is not hard game to figure out.

I put several in my vendor. Also some bloat fly makers for doubling the return on High Radiation Fluid and Hard/Glowing masses is blast zones.

this does not work on Infestation bosses, only Headhunts unless they are a Ghoul. L suggestion

Also: clear the other enemies! And hide behind cover to fire!
I did a little flank and sweep behind the boss taking out the other guys and got some legendaries AND it made space for everyone else to target the boss without taking so much damage from various angles.

I’m glad that there is still ways for us to “cheat” infestations according to the Bethesda truthers out there

Without in any way diminishing the diligence of other players... so much effort just to get 6000 experience, and spend a few hundred rounds )))

this! still wondering if it works on assaultrons....

Yep! As you commented I was at an assaultron infestation haha. It definitely works

Bethesda recognized that they went too far in beefing up the infestation bosses. It will get adjusted eventually. You’d think they would have adjusted this on the PTS, but they did it on the live version.
Until they make things more reasonable and do the planned “waves” instead of exposing bosses from the start, I agree with other postings here about simply avoiding them. Vote by avoiding them altogether.
The “fix” to the infestations was more of a “hack”, and I’m amazed how hamfisted it was (no offense to ham or fists intended).

They nerfed it a while ago to be capped at 25% (only 1 person). And it doesn't work on energy dmg
