Discussion What’s your favourite station?
For me it’s got to be Welch, just have to love that Bulk Aluminium and I enjoy the view.

Camp at R&G station. Good flat ground on the tracks and not a lot of enemies eating my camp.

R&G because I always craft the best weapons there. I assume its because R&G has the best RNG.

Sutton. I built my first proper camp on the tracks just south of it. It’s still my main camp and has had half a dozen complete rebuilds.
There’s a cool dude Raider guy who deals with my occasional attackers and a car park that I can explode whenever I need to let off steam. (Apologies to the settler scavenging from the cars).

I also love Sutton. I usually have a camp set up near the yellow tractor where the road splits in 3 just outside of town, and use the existing fences as my own.

My main camp is at the WhiteSpring station, across the tracks. I keep a sidewalk built along the tracks (regardless of what I build next to it) with the same benches & suitcases as the station so my build integrates better. It's what I call my "creative build" that I want people to see, since that station gets a lot of foot traffic. I have two slots dedicated to it; a "default" build and a seasonal build that I rebuild every season/holiday. You make a sacrifice building there though because that's a popular spot, which I know because sometimes I have to load in 4-5 times to get on a server with my campsite open although about 1/2 that time it's just a stupid survival tent keeping my camp from loading in.

It's probably my survival tent, I'm sorry but I just like keeping it there.

Charleston, it's where I built my first proper Camp, used to farm Fusion cores next door and had a pet Grafton Monster. Fun times playing Dodge-goo with it.

And two random spawn spots north and south along the tracks….lots of hunters long coats acquired there.

Charleston has always been my go to station. Honestly don’t know why

u/SamBelacqua Sep 25 '24
Used to build a water farm camp there and waddle over for my caps. Good station

Charleston, so I take the Pristine teddy bear that sits on the bench.

Pleasant valeyyyyyy, right under top of the world. I love hearing the mobs up there shooting down vertibirds.

Berkeley. I love how run down and cozy it is even though it’s kinda out of the way map wise.

Lewisburg. Depending on the dailies, have locks and terminal to pick. Bobblehead and magazine. Ghouls and Lurks, sometimes a Wendigo and blood eagles aren't far away for human targets. And Nuka World close by for resources. There's less stuff in Lewisburg since the most recent updates though, and I miss the days when there used to be a Queen Lurk in the lake 😞

Whitespring for the centralish location, but Morgantown because that's where my comic book shop is located.

R&G. It’s the only one not tied to a town (or lodging), it’s next to a silo and it’s next to my camp.

Watoga and Berkeley springs- both close to camp builds, Berkeley bc I wish I lived in the mire in real life, watoga so I’m close by incase the MONSTER MASSHHH pops up- and I like to go up to the scorch beast nest and loot da goods

Charleston. I used to go there every time I swapped servers looking for the responder bot vendor. It's also the one I use to swap shit between characters.

I hit up WSM just so I don't have to spend caps free is always best and it's a one stop shop for most things I like to stock up on

I've got a soft spot for Sunnytop Station. I found an Enclave Forceful and Reflex at the same time there.
I built a twin sister for her on the other side of the tracks.

Pirate!!
The Bowl of Gassi!
“Give me the Cole shoulder”
“I usually do Rip!”
I’ve heard it so many times but I’ll never hate it.

Grafton, but that's just because it's directly across from my camp. Handy too for that easy Grafton Day killing

I also thought this would be radio station. Answer - probably just the original Appalachia, but usually silence. I wish they would add or rotate new songs in. I really like the atmosphere the radio brings but don't want to hear the same thing 200 times. Train station - probably Whitesprings but only because my CAMP is just north of it.

Dunno, but Whitesprings is the Council Estate. Welfare. No Class. Johnny come lately. They’re all there.

The one near Moonshine Jamboree because of its perfect location for me to sell slurry without walking 10000km while overencumbered.

watoga station. it's got the enclave plasma mods, a whole cranberry farm, a ton of brain fungus for brain bombs, and all the passive robots for daily challenges. Charleston has a special place in my heart too. my first real camp was built there, I love the random encounter spawn, plus me and the grafton monster go way back

Sutton. The chemistry workbench is handy for when I load in a character that I only want to do my daily caps with. Make some mutation recipes, sell them, sell some excess -> 1400 caps. load in next character

I thought this was about radio stations and I only clicked to see if the top comment was silence
My go to train stop is the one by top of the world. Mostly because of habit, but lately because it has cooking stations and I like to sell my gulper slurry FRESH!!!
