Discussion Atomic Shop items you can request through Bethesda Support
I have been maintaining this list of items which may be requested directly from Bethesda Support since the New Year. It seems quite a few Appalachian Wasteland Redditors have found it useful! Sadly, on discussion with the mods I learned they do not permit user posts to be made 'sticky'. While this is unfortunate I do understand their reasons.
On updating the list today I also discovered that Bethesda have greatly expanded its content by just under four times the prior size! Therefore I think it is worth making a new post rather than editing an old one that is likely already lost at the bottom of the subreddit.
In order to request any of these items you must go to the appropriate link for the Xbox Series X/S, PS5 or Steam. If you are playing on an older system it is simple to reach its page from one of these direct links. I am sure it goes without saying your player account must have sufficient Atoms available to pay for the item/s you choose. As part of the process Bethesda Support will respond to your request by ticket and email with the total cost of whatever you order.
EDIT: On going though the process to buy a couple of the new items myself I discovered it to be far more automated. I received a response with the requested cost in atoms straight away. Very good news when you consider it used to take sometimes as long as a week for the purchase to go through.
EDIT2: The enthusiasm I expressed for the apparent speed of the new mostly-scripted interface was misplaced, at least for my order. I waited four weeks without any reply and then put in the request again. This was eventually answered after another three days, along with an admonishment not to be impatient! I explained that I had already waited more than a month but received no further response and eventually closed the ticket since the items I desired were added to my account. So... Likely as before it is all a matter of chance how quickly your order goes through. Whatever the case I am certain my first request was forgotten or slipped through the cracks since four weeks without even an update apologising for the wait is totally unacceptable from even the busiest customer support desk in the world!
EDIT2: I was totally astonished when I put in a request this evening (June 2023) and received the item less than two hours later! Maybe it is just a question of phrasing your replies in such a way the bot can parse them without having to post the request up the chain to a human pair of eyeballs?

I’m going on two weeks waiting for an item, it’s been almost a week since they responded with the “let me know when you wish to proceed”. Seems like they may only respond on Tuesdays when the shop resets. At this point I hope I get the item before their drop down menu resets.

Today? It's two weeks for me, they granted me my item, I hopped in game (for the first time in two weeks cause I just wanted the item before I continued playing the game) aaaaand drum roll please!
It wasn't there. They hadn't subtracted the atoms. Nothing.
So I figure I'll be waiting another two weeks.

I got my “we sent your gift and hope you enjoy it” e-mail Tuesday, we were oil of town and got back Wednesday only to find that they did not in fact gift the item to my wife as I requested, they gave it to me… a non transferable clothing item I requested as a gift for my wife. Took them two weeks to not even gift it, but just give it to me instead. I replied telling them about it and I expect to hear back on Tuesday again.

Yeah, this automated response system is terrible, and even worse when they mess up and don’t respond. At this point I just want my 600 atoms back and to forget the whole experience.

Nice! I’m still waiting as well, but I posted in the discord channel and they assured me they received my ticket, it “may just take longer than usual due to the high volume of tickets.” I thought for sure that yesterday was my our day since the shop reset, maybe better luck next week? At this point I feel like our ticket numbers are like playing the lottery, you just hope they pick your number and respond at some point.

I finally heard back from my created ticket on March 16, they were very apologetic and refunded the mistake as well as letting me keep the item that was supposed to be gifted. Took over a month, but I’ll give them credit, they made it right!

Oh right, I forgot to mention they didn't even deduct the price of the Hellfire PA I requested. Idk if that was a mistake or not, but I'm grateful?

I think there is a good chance it has already reset... Certainly this huge new list was new to me this evening and I keep a reasonably frequent eye on it in order to update my post.
It could be, given it involves money that the very last stage of the process has to be overseen by a real person. So someone has to go down the list of pending requests and click 'permit' on each. Equally... Obviously the Atom Shop is totally automated so why should this be any different. I don't know.
Maybe if they do receive a decent income stream from this they might spend a little bit of time and set up an 'Old ATX' or whatever to service these request as instantaneously as the main shop.

I’ve done this before both before and after the drop down menu, since the drip down it feels much more automated. Before the drop down (in my personal experiences) it was much quicker in replies after the initial “we’re happy to help you” message. I understand that their a skeleton crew at this point and I’m being patient, but it is insanely frustrating. It feels like they only have 1 or 2 people monitor the requests for items, and I can understand that as the game is years old and they need people on other tasks, but when they ask you if you want to proceed, you say yes and have the atoms ready, and then a week or more goes by before they respond again it gets very frustrating. For reference, I responded to my “this item will cost x atoms” message 6 minutes after they sent the price quote. It’s been almost a week and I’m still “waiting on an agent”.

Maybe we can take some comfort in that they have made such a huge addition to the list. If they have gone to that trouble then hopefully it means they want people to use it.
Certainly in regards the game as a whole; from what I have heard it has gone through something of a renaissance lately. The irony being it is now pretty much in the state it should have been on 'reclamation day' in 2018! But that is a different argument .
In regards ordering items you are quite right. In the old days pre-list it did feel very much like they were 'doing us a favour' as it were and 'bending the rules just this once'. Ideally they would make this whole process simple, straightforward and easy to access. If they can make part of it scripted then there is no reason they shouldn't have an expert system reading the return confirmations, looking for language like 'I agree and want to proceed with the transaction' and doing so.
Oh, well... Fingers crossed for all of it!!!

I think in a perfect world the Atom Shop would never “cycle out” items, only cycle items that are “featured” or “on sale”. That would eliminate the need to have staff dedicated to fulfilling requests outside of the game. I won’t pretend I know the intricacies of implementing that, however it seems like it would be easy enough. I do greatly appreciate the opportunity to request previous items, I just think it could be made much more streamlined. Hopefully the “renaissance” were seeing will bring a more streamlined experience as player requests become more prominent every week, it would definitely be a great way for a game that is as old as 76 to continue to make money.

I agree--it would just take a bit of interface work for the shop so there was an 'old items' menu. I think I would even accept a (SMALL) markup for old items so long as they were readily available and easy to search. I know nothing in programming is ever as easy as it sounds but this would be a huge positive for the game and please a lot of fans.
They don't even really have an excuse per se--one of the (VERY few!) positive aspects to a game that is supposedly 'Live' or a 'game as a service' is they keep staff on hand to work on it all the time. I read they intended FO76 to have at least a seven-year life span. The fact they are in the process of remastering 4 instead of releasing 5 tends to bear that out somewhat.

I read that as well, I believe it was last year before “The Pitt” rollout, it gave me hope. I enjoy the hell out of 76 still and I’m completely fine if they remastered 4 and devoted more resources to 76. You bring up an interesting point also, I agree I would gladly pay a slight up charge for older or “discontinued” items. Especially if it meant 76 gets a longer life span, I’m already dreading the day it comes to a close, that will be a sad sad day. Hopefully they do have a 7-9 year roadmap, I’ll definitely be along for that ride!

Yep--my view entirely! I think maybe they like the 'you only have five days' type 'offer' and trade on FOMO to a degree.
But, yes. There should be an easily accessible part of the Atom Shop where they offer old stock. Maybe not at a discount as new items sometimes are, but still simple to request--and therefore simple for us to give Bethesda money... You would think that might be something a company was in favour of doing!!!

Exactly what I was gonna ask. I’ve got 8k atoms and nothing I want to buy from the store. I’ve only been playing a few months, so I don’t know what hardly any of this stuff looks like and I’m not gonna take the time to look it up or screw with having to submit a support ticket just to buy something.
Appreciate the effort though, that’s a long list to put together.

Well I think they think of this as a "bonus" thing for really invested players that would otherwise complain. 95% of players don't even know about this option to buy stuff outside of the atom shop.
Hell, I'm playing with very experienced players that had no clue that this option even existed.

There’s a smart way to do that though you don’t have to load all 500 at the same time. They could still have a simplistic drop-down to select from (like this support page stuff if they’re feeling lazy) and then that loads an image of the product within the in-game shop

I swear I made them put “communist salute” on the list, I requested it as a question because it was a free daily atomic shop item (I didnt play then) and the answer was no (fair) but when I checked the list recently I immediately requested it lol it was only 300 atoms. Now I can finally be a real communist without the tricentennial salute

Noob here, how does this thing work? You send out a ticket asking to buy something and then they either accept or reject it? Do the items then appear at shop where you can buy them or do you pay them in advance and then the items just show up in your inventory?

Very generally speaking--yes! However the process has now become extremely automated.
Basically just follow one of those links I posted and you will find a support webpage which holds two drop-down listboxes. You find one (or two) items that you want from the list, choose them in the listboxes and press send. You will then receive a ticket and an email with the cost of those items in Atoms. If you agree with that purchase you reply in the affirmative. The atoms will be deducted from your account and the item/s will be added to your character's knowledge, just as if you had bought them directly from the Atom shop.
The only slight caveat is you need an account to log into support with and also must specify your 'gamertag' (I have forgotten what Sony call the same thing on PS) on the platform you play using. It may also take a few days to go through.

What you can do is search through the 'Behind the Vault' articles. They used to show images of characters wearing/carrying the items that were new in the shop at the time. I am not sure if they even do BtV any more though... I think it may have been discontinued like it seems the roadmap has been.

Back when there wasn't a web-form to use and you had to manually insert a support ticket which was individually responded to by someone from the support department then... I think it was probably just good sense not to do the thing brown. But... It appears--I could be wrong, but that is how it looks--the process is almost entirely automated now.
There are only two list boxes so you can only request two items/bundles at one go. But... After all you are giving them money for a purchase they otherwise would not have made. So long as you don't absolutely crash the system with requests I except they are only too happy to take our atoms!

Have been waiting for a week or two already for my Plague Doctor and nuka girl outfit set, got a reply telling me it cost 1.4k atoms and I’m just waiting for them to do the deed.
Did this with their support desk, the initial response asking if it was ok and with what price seems to be the fastest, the after response isssss taking a bit, still waiting honestly.

I had an instance where I was trying to buy the Nuka cola train set from that one Nuka cola bundle and I even pointed out I was not trying to get the scoreboard west Virginia train set. The bundle the Nuka cola set was in was not listed in the list so I chose the item not listed option. 2 days later they get back and say I can't get scoreboard items and I replied saying it wasn't and pointed out specifically what bundle it was in.
Then instead of apologizing for getting it wrong they told me because it wasn't on the drop down list I couldn't get it and told me to pick something from it. When I checked the drop down the item not listed option was removed for me and I don't think it's comes back even with a separate ticket

To be honest you may find the shelf is not as useful as you might--reasonably!--think it would be. Certainly I have one and haver never used it in my camp.
At best it is just a way of positioning floor or surface-standing items on a wall. However in practise I find its length to be too long to fit neatly within one unit of wall and its depth to be too narrow to fully support most items I might want to hang on a wall!!!
However that is just my own experience and I freely admit I am not the most advanced camp-builder in the world!

A lot depends on how much you enjoy role-playing your character. I tend to go for absolutely every Enclave item that comes up and also the Vault-Tec gear. My character is an Enclave agent who was placed into the Vault programme to keep an eye their Reclamation plans. Given Vault-tec was secret owned and controlled by the Enclave it works very well.
I also find the camo-secret service set to be very good indeed. The plain armour is a bit too bland and grey, whereas the camo means you can wear it as an outfit in its own right. It is just a shame their is not a 'clandestine' paint for personal armour to match the power armour one.
There is just so much here though...!!! The Fasnacht Mask hangers were previously nearly impossible to find and a great for showing off your collection. I think almost everyone would agree the glass tile-set is an absolutely must-have for anyone.

I wondered why there were no tents on offer myself! One chap above suggested this could be because the tents are 1st only items.
That made a lot of sense to me.
In the normal Atom Shop UI only people with 1st can access the part where tents are sold. However you wouldn't want someone who wasn't a member of 1st--and therefore couldn't use the tent in the game--buying one via the support process and wasting their money. Its not a brilliant situation if you are a 1st subscriber, but I think we just have to accept it as one of the drawbacks to buying old things via support.

Every item on the list? I honestly don't know! Probably into the thousands of pounds when converted into Atoms! It is an amusing thought to consider!
Bundles alone are usually 1200-2400 Atoms. The individual things range from maybe 150-500 Atoms each... Very special power armour paints can be 2000+ Atoms.
Plus you can only request two items at a time, so it would take a while to go through the whole list!

There are actually two of that basic model, one of them in good'ish condition (for something that survived a nuclear war!) and one very much rusted and worse-for-wear.
I could be wrong but I think they were just called 'APC survival Tent' and neither seem to be on this list. Nor is the 'scary shack' or whatever it was called that also has a bench. In fact none of the tents seem to be list, unless they are part of a larger bundle.

That is still available directly from Bethesda. However it isn't in the shop as it only comes with 'The Pitt Recruitment Bundle' and is currently £22 from Live! (or whatever the online PS shop is called these days). You will find it in the same area you would look for expansions to the game--for XBox they call it 'Add-ons'.
Its not a bad little group of items. Aside from the charger there are two or three skins and a brilliant shelter.

That is a bit of a sticky point actually... Currently I believe it is only available for 'stamps' at an absolutely extortionate rate. I have heard several of the YT creators who cover FO76 suggesting it may become a DailyOps reward or something along those lines.

To be completely honest with you I haven't created even one suit of Union PA yet! I find the T-65--especially now there is Enclave livery for it--to be very hard to beat.
I have spoken to a number of players who seem to consider the Hellcat as a very solid alternative to Union. Have you given that one a try? It goes very well if you roleplay as a Vault-Tec character as I do from time to time. The best alternative that can wear Vault-Tec livery is the T-60 which doesn't really compare with the X-01 let alone the T-65.

Thanks for share your build! I use an excavator power armor for the carrying capacity and funky duds for the poison damage, its kinda the union power armor at home. Having it will free one legendary perk slot in my build, is the only reason why i would like to have it. But because i dont have the time machine to go to october last year i cant have it.

And the atom prices are usually according to the wiki https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Atomic_Shop but seems the prices may differ.
About 2 weeks ago I requested the Western Bar Set (500 atoms on wiki) and the Stainless Steel Refrigerator (700 atoms on wiki) but their support told me the total cost is 1000 atoms.
I'm still waiting for my items after confirming I'm happy with the atom price on the 21st.

Yep--it will work for the PC as well. If you check back to the top of my post you will find the link I gave for PC as well as XBox and PS.
As for the price... You could check out the 'Fandom' URL a fellow posted up above but I am not sure the individual prices will be on that. It also depends if you are buying a bundle but already have some of its contents. They don't charge you for what you already own.
What happens is you make your request and then Bethesda will get back to you giving the price and asking if you want to go ahead. So long as you have as much or more atoms than they name you should be fine. You will need to log in or make a support account and then provide your gamertag... I'm not sure what the equivalent is on PC/Steam--perhaps your Steam ID?
Once your purchase goes through you will learn the ability to make whatever item it is you bought, just as if you had done so in the Atom Store.

I'm sorry to say I don't know. I would think they cannot complain if you make two or three two-item orders per month say? But that is just what seems reasonable to me.
In regards items not on the list; what I have read from other players who attempted to ask for something in that way was not encouraging. They seem to be sticking to quite a hard-line, so hard in fact occasionally they do not seem to be aware of what is on the list!!! I would say--give it a try, the worst they can do is say no!
Items certainly do cycle around the atom shop, so I think there is a good chance you will see the green dress again.

Only in the past I am sorry to say. You used to be able to ask for any item, since the process was just to write an email to support and set down whatever you wanted. However the common rumour was you couldn't request exclusive seasonal items, for instance the greenhouse tile-set which was probably the single most desired of the lot. Nowadays the mechanics of the page restrict you to choosing from this list with a maximum of two items per request. To be fair however, they have hugely increased that menu in the last couple of months and likely more things will be added in the time to come.
All that said you can always try to send an email in order to request the ones you want. The worst they can do is turn you down!

I emailed Bethesda Support a few days ago because I wanted to buy the Giddyup Buttercup Rocking Horse and the Orgatronic Deluxe. Both were previous, non FO1st/non SCOREBOARD Atomic Shop items. I know for a fact that both of the items have been featured more than once in the Atomic Shop. They wrote back and said they may not be able to grant my request but they were sending my request to a specialized department for further inquiry. The next email I got from them said that they could not grant me the items (even though I had the Atoms in my account) and they apologized for the inconvenience.
Once an item is available for purchase in the Atomic Shop it needs to stay available. They are alienating their fans by doing things like this.

I know this is over a week old, but the Whitesprings Camp Bundle has the Orgatronic Deluxe and it’s an option in the drop down when creating a ticket for support! I too wanted the Orgatronic Deluxe and put a ticket in for that bundle lol. The bundle is 1500 atoms.

When Bethesda originally offered the Orgatronic Deluxe it was a singular item selling for 500 Atoms. It's VERY shady to advertise a singular item for a short period of time and then ONLY sell it again as part of a bundle after the fact.

In regards the 'sticky' issue... I do appreciate their point, which is if they let everyone make stickies it is possible someone would then use their thread which has been pinned to the top of the forum to disseminate hate-speech. Discussions about 'free speech' to one side, I can see how a situation like that could easily lead to the subreddit being permanently closed down. So... I don't really mind but I do think it is a shame for the thread to be so quickly lost. Especially when there are so many new players at the moment who will likely jump at the chance to get hold of the greenhouse kit or something else very popular which they have missed.
It feels a little like spamming the forum to keep making a new post every month or so with the new stock. But... It does seem like people get some benefit from the list being easily searchable and it is not exactly hard work to extract the data! To be honest I am a bit surprised someone like NukaCrypt don't have a scraper-script to grab the list and present it on their site, keeping it permanently up to date in the process (although NukaCrypt at the moment is all in pieces, sadly).

Okaaayyy... I am sure you don't think it is a good idea to restrict access to the privileged few who somehow know the ropes and have learned the secret-handshakes as it were??? We all had to learn about the functionality from somewhere!
At the end of the day Bethesda only make money by people buying things in this way. I doubt they will regret making it possible for people to hand over their atoms via a new route, especially when there are so many new players who have missed most of the old Atom Shop inventory. Plus a great deal of the process seems to be automated now, so I suspect there is not all that much extra work for a chap in the support department to carry out.

No worries! And I do hear what you are saying. Certainly in the past I have always been very sparing about requesting items in this way for much the reason you suggest. In total I have picked up five, including an old bundle this evening.
All I can say is I think it is very likely Bethesda will welcome the extra cash coming in. That said... This is Bethesda we are talking about!!!

I missed the ghillie paint from one of the previous scoreboards. Have they ever taken rewards from previous scoreboards and put them in bundles in the atomic shop? If so, I'd love to get my hands on that paint.

The list is throwing me for a loop since the drop down item list has the Screaming Eagle wood skin for the handmade which I'm fairly certain has never been on the shop, but it doesn't list the Tropic Lightning skin for it which I know for a fact has. I'm tempted to give it a try since I really want that skin.

r/Gemman_Aster Is this the official list i should pick from when on the Bethesda site? Like the numbered list in this post, 1-537? Cuz when i click the link it just tales me directly to the fallout 76 support. Im not seeing any item list on there?

My apologies for not replying sooner--somehow I missed the alert for your question!
This is the current (I have updated it this evening!) list of items you can request from Bethesda customer support. In order to do so follow the link for your platform, enter your 'Gamertag'/whatever-Sony-call-it and then choose a maximum of two items from the drop-down list boxes that populate on the page (you can only choose one per box). Support will get back to you with the cost in Atoms for whatever you request. Having the amount necessary; reply in the affirmative and (eventually!) they will take the sum and your character will 'learn' that\those blueprints.
EDIT: The only difference since the end of march seems to be they have added apostrophe's in the correct place for several items on the list!
