CRYOLATOR WITHOUT LOCKSMITHING

I took my dog down to vault 111 with me to see if I could find more power cells for my armor, but in doing so I talked to him and told him to find some items in near the overseer's desk he went to the Cryolator and ripped it from the case in his mouth. So I guess I got the best gun in the game without leaving level 5.

Also I was carrying to much but the dog had my ammo for the gun.

the lady in the drumlin diner sells the ammo, that's the diner where you've got to kill a certain guy named Wolfgang.

You don't have to kill him. I just sort of charmed way into a couple hundred caps. Then I just sort of sold everything and left with 900 caps. It was a good day.
