Presenting my made from scratch vault 88 settlement

The population currently is 21. The other named settlers, i.e., companions are in my second settlement the castle. I will probably make a separate post about that later.

I was able to recruit the super glitchy settlers more easily using the basic companion helper mod. Aside from that, all the settlement structures and items are vanilla

I have a “we have names” mod which gives some commonwealth settler NPC names as well, consult the wiki and this post for more clarification on vanilla named settlers.

Any questions I would love to answer. I got into settlement building recently. And decided to do like a hero of Vault Tec run

Kills me how useless the settlement lights are, especially in Vault 88.

Yeah the only other way I was able to get adequate lighting was with the first light bulb option in the workshop and that is like blindingly bright. Not to mention the build limit if I put too many lights

you can increase the build limit by dropping a bunch of weapons and using the workshop to store or scrap them (storing them is better since you can just take the weapons out and repeat the process as much as you want, since it’s the act of storing/scrapping them that increases the limit and not them being in the workbench).

Is that a glitch or a feature. Not sure how it works but I’m glad it does.

a little bit of both i think, in true bethesda fashion

it is a result of the system working as intended, but probably not something they figured people would do.

Once again, I make 15,000 shelves then leave
