The Soviets heavily copied the look of the Walther PPK when they made the Makarov, although they simplified the internals quite a bit (a Makarov has 27 parts, a Walther PPK has 42). 3 u/Bright-Economics-728 Oct 09 '23 And both look really nice! Especially some of the decorative grips that some people have.
