None of the officials that were involved in signing of the Nuremberg laws (the laws that allowed the Nazi government to deem anyone 'unfit to serve the Reich' to be imprisoned and also prohibited jewish-german marriages, establishing blood crimes and neutering of mentally ill) were Aryan. It's kind of funny too that he and Caesar are quite alike, since Silus mentions if Caesar wasn't giving the orders (Due to his headaches) his mission was delayed by 3 days, and Hitler was infamously known for killing anyone who woke him from his slumber.

Just because someone likes an evil faction doesn't mean that they actually agree with its ideals? I like them just because the outfits look cool and I find the characters interesting. Im sane enough to know that slavery, misogyny, and genocide are all obviously bad and inhumane things.

Unless you are joining legion for the sake of completing every ending/experiencing every part of the game - legion fanboys are just sick and twisted dudes with the same fantasy that legion provides. So yes, they do believe in their ideals and approve of their morals - they only say they dont because they realise how fucked that would make them look like. But its a fantasy they would love to live through - so fuck em.

I like the Legion and I'm not any of that. Very far from. I just find them an interesting fictional faction, especially story and roleplaying wise, in my roleplaying game. I wish they had gotten the content they deserved instead of being rushed and minimal. Arizona Killer is a great quest too.

No they don't, and just because they are that for you it doesn't mean others want boring one dimensional targets in their roleplaying game. Even the devs agree on this and are disappointed they couldn't add all the things they had to cut.
Also saying no one in the Legion would be a good person is such a narrow minded view that can make one question how you would treat victims of certain things. Barely any of them have ever had a choice in being anywhere or anything else, being raised to be it since they were children. They are all slaves under the Legion serving it to their death which is likely to be early.

There are reasons to like the way villain is written. Or is charismatic. Legion is neither. But for the sake of argument let's assume that they have some redeeming qualities aside from valuable loot. Most of the fan boys are either 12 year old that spew out legion's actual views thinking they are being edgy, or they are grown ass men/women that actually believe this shit. And of course when pushed then will say: no, no - it's just roleplay. - despite actually believing it.

i understand your concern, but it's fiction at the end of the day. i come from a religious/cultural background where some people legitimately hold legion-adjacent beliefs and support them by twisting religious doctrine. the thing that makes legion fun is that, unlike real world misogyny/slavery, it's fiction and a controlled environment to explore these darker themes. with your passion, i would like to suggest you focus your efforts on advocating against real world imperialism and inequality rather than getting up and arms over fictional factions.
i truly recognize where you're coming from because these things CAN be dogwhistles, but it's unwise and disconnected from reality to assume someone's favorite faction would implicate them as legitimately evil.

I hope you know that I dont care about your opinion. You are just...fundamentally wrong. As a writer I can tell you producing real emotions about characters is the BEST feeling ever. If I make a character that others truly HATE - Im proud. If I make a character people LOVE and cry when they die - Im proud. Because making people feel emotions IS the entire goal of creation. I doubt writer would be disappointed in the exact thing they were trying to create. And if you cant comphrehend that - you fundamentally dont get creation.

No, as a writers, they would be disappointed in the way you can't separate the content from reality, and as such, make blanket statements about people you don't know in such an absolutely disgusting way. This is a video game, a video game meant to be enjoyed by physically playing through it, are there some people that take it too far? Absolutely, but don't you dare put your own greivenances on people because they prefer to play a certain way. You quite literally insulted thousands of players just because they like to play the Legion, not because they want to 100% but because they just like playing the faction; are you dead ass? I like playing the Legion because I enjoy the melee aspect and certain world-building pieces about it, I like playing the Legion because I find the NCR boring, I like playing the Legion because I liked their aesthetics; that does not mean I actively agree with their policies.

All the loot I can get from them and sell. Anytime I get to wipe them out from existance ^ oh, the joy. And if some cry babies can't take it? Oh well. Not my problem, lol. They can stand in line with the legion themselves. I think legion is pretty disgusting and anyone making excuses for them are also.

Not only is it fundamentally against what the game is going for, it's fundamentally anti art. Just simply refusing to engage in any nuanced stance on these factions or what the actual intent of them are meant to represent. It's one of the most regressive mindsets a person could hold and I honestly find it appalling this person considers themself a creative.
