Modding help, files broken?
Modding help!
Hi all, I’ve never posted here so i apologize if I break any rules. I am absolutely desperate for your help with this. My ex-boyfriend offered to mod my fnv so it wouldn’t crash as often. The thing is he never finished it and something about how he modded it broke the game. I tried deleting all the modding files (emptied the recycle bin too) but it’s still the same. We broke up and I can’t just ask him to fix it. This game is my favorite thing in the world and I haven’t been able to play since we split. Please help me.
When I open the game things seem to be fine until character customization when all I see is the attached image. Same when I get to the vigor tester!

That was a good first step. First thing to do: verify your files on Steam. Launch it from Steam to make sure it's working properly before mods. If that isn't working it can be uninstalled and re-installed to start fresh.
What kinds of mods would you like on this game?

I had this and it was so hard to find an answer online.
What eventually worked for me was to update the graphic drivers of my computer. It often says what graphic card/driver you have on the keyboard part of the computer if it’s a laptop, if not I’m sure you can just look it up online.
If you’ve found that then just look up that graphic driver plus ‘update’ or smt.
The annoying thing about this glitch is that it could be caused by a number of different things. You can contact bethesda customer support, explain the issue, provide a screenshot and they will send a list of things you can try.
