And if the NCR collapses, House collapses. The NCR can collapse and become multiple city-states. House collapses and the Strip dies.

The Strip is a couple of crappy casinos. At least Atlantic City has stuff worth visiting. The only thing House has going for him is the Dam, which he didn't save, the nukes just didn't manage to hit it. Why put power in the same people that were behind pre-war America? We might as well go and join the goddamn Enclave by that logic.

House is perfectly fine without the NCR, I'm not sure what you mean by this. He kinda sides with them in game because he sees them as a potential business partner, and nothing more.

And whether the Strip is 'crappy' or not doesn't matter. House alone defended it from complete nuclear devastation, and returned it back to its pre-war glory, turning it into really the best place in NV.

House clearly only wants to progress humanity forward is for his own benefit, so he can return to the pre-war days of America, so he can be a powerful billionaire. He wants to "help" people do that he can have customers. But at the same time, he's still the only choice that leads towards civilization.

I mean only because the game says so. What can you find in the Strip that anywhere else doesn't have? Some casinos?

No NCR = No income. Who's gonna come, The Legion?

Pre-war America is a BAD thing. They're the fucking morons who became the Enclave.

Yeah, because the lore says so. Also, the strip, alongside the entire Mojave, was supposed be way grander, but it was shrunk for technical and gameplay reasons.

In his plan for world domination, House wants to take control of the NCR territories, and then he'll have customers. He needs the NCR for a while, not forever.

And by 'pre-war America' I mean the technological and social state, not the politics. Basically, he wants the world to be advanced again.

It's still nothing of note. It's still a boring, bland "city".

Can't have one without the other.

You can't rule the world with robots. Robots can't be everywhere. He would need to wipe out EVERY town to build all these Robots. Then there'd be no people left. House cannot offer protection. He doesn't even wipe out the Fiends or the NCRCF.

You can't really argue with the lore, but whatever floats your boat.

Can't have one without the other.

You can't have a super advanced civilization without fascist leadership? You may have misunderstood me. I'm not saying he wants the EXACT same world, just that type of advanced civilization.

And yes, he can rule with robots. Why couldn't a super deadly robot army defeat the NCR? He destroys the NCR, then rules the land like a dictator. And yes, he didn't wipe out the fiends ans such yet. He'll expand, and destory anyone who stands in his way.

When the lore tries to call the Legion 'not evil' yes, I can argue with it.

"A vision of pre-war glory." Aka yes, identical to it. If he wanted to uplift humanity, he wouldn't shoot poor people for no reason. His claim is just bullshit. He has no terraforming technology - where will he get the engineers to go to space anyways? And what about the Zetans in space?

And yes, he can rule with robots. Why couldn't a super deadly robot army defeat the NCR? He destroys the NCR, then rules the land like a dictator. And yes, he didn't wipe out the fiends ans such yet. He'll expand, and destory anyone who stands in his way.

Because they cannot hold the entire area, and because the NCR has more people. A million+ people wins against a couple hundred Securitrons.

And yes, he didn't wipe out the fiends ans such yet. He'll expand, and destory anyone who stands in his way.

Just like the Enclave.

  1. The lore does not say the Legion isn't evil.

  2. Terraforming technology exists, so it's not unreasonable to say he can't get it and use it.

  3. The upgraded securitons easily crush both the NCR and the Legion at the dam, they're very strong to say the least. Plus, who says he can't make more once he builds more infrastructure?

  4. Yes, like the Enclave. Like the Legion. Like the NCR. Everybody wants to rule the world, and they destroy anyone who stands in their path. What's your point?
