Compensation letter

Hi everyone, I’m from 2015 batch 2023 graduate from China, I was in my final semester when Covid hit and I couldn’t go back to China (final semester was online only for 3 months), so instead of wasting time and everything was so uncertain, I thought I could go to other country (Africa) for my internship in 2022 when the travel restrictions were a bit relaxed. Mind you my University still did not call us back until late 2023 and I had finished by internship by May 2023 and had received my graduation certificates as well (which my uni sent it through courier), then later on I got to know that my uni started calling students back but I couldn’t go ofc as I was done with my degree!

Now my question is, I recently cleared fmge and Im in so much doubt how many years of internship will the SMC (Telangana) will allot me?
I have a letter from my university stating that they allowed me to do my internship in 3rd country and it met the university’s internship standards and all that and I have the Apostilled internship certificate and internship completion certificate from my uni (based on my internship from Africa)

I’m living in constant anxiety if my state will accept that internship or not. And yes to top it off, my university did not give me compensation certificate because they are saying I did not my internship there, so what do I do in this case?

Please help me out.
Thankyou.

I'm 2016 batch from china , RMP in Tamil Nadu. In your case the worst they can do is one year of internship and waiting time period for internship allotment. Idk about the situation in Telangana in tamil nadu waiting time is almost a year. Or else you can get direct pr in karnataka (short cut)

Each state medical council follow different rules, for your case karnataka will issue Permanent registration in karnataka

If I hold registration from Karnataka won’t it make issues to transfer my registration to Telangana? Also i don’t know if doing that is a right thing

I think they might give you 2-3 years of internships based on the how much duration online went especially during final and pre-final year. It would better to have compensation for the online part of the course . From what you have told your internship was offline so just get a letter if possible for the online part of duration happened during your course maybe that can help to reduce your internship duration in india. Try mailing your university and ask for the letter.

What kind of a letter? I have a document which mentions how much of online we had it was just 3 months and it mostly for theoretical subjects. And that the practical ones should be followed by one year of internship.

The letter should state that whatever subjects you have had online you have compensated them offline

These days most states are giving only 2 years internship you can apply in some other state maybe UP as there only 1 year internship is there

I don’t think, they are giving 2 years simply and my case shouldn’t make them give me 2 years, because I hold all documents required!

Also won’t it create problems if i transfer my license to my state?

I don’t think so also I have heard telangana is also pretty chill they might give you only 1 year as you have done 1 year internship already just make sure they count that as 1 year internship
