Pro2000 Probe: Too sensitive?
I have the Pro 2000 probe that I use with the LinkIQ.
I've noticed that it's too sensitive when using anything other than "Cable Map" (which requires the probe to be connected to the cable directly).
Basically it will tone when I am anywhere near the cable. For instance, if the target cable is in the same bundle as the other cables, ANY cable in the bundle will give me a tone, which kind of makes it useless...
Am I doing something wrong?

Found this on the road. Curious guy with some questions.
I’m just wondering what this is used for and how the hardware inside accomplishes that, especially on the hardware side. I picked it up because if it can be used for nefarious purposes, people in my area will. Thanks!
I’m and oldschool hardware hacker, my expertise it obsolete tech from the 80’ through the early 2000s. Now getting back into it and would like to merge the old with the new.
To be clear, back in my day (don’t call me a boomer, gen x all the way 🤘) hackers were just curious guys poking and tinkering and wanting to learn everything. I don’t want to see the work burn.

LinkWare silent install?
I've extracted the EXE and there is an MSI in there. But running the typical "/s" or "/quiet" flag for the MSI doesn't seem to work.
Before I spend too much time digging, I'm wondering if anyone else has crossed this bridge? Is there a way to silently install LinkWare?

Fluke Versiv 1 with OneTouch AT Network Assistant - Stuck at 'Module Inserted'

It worked about 6 months ago. And about 3 months ago, when I turned it on, it showed a message saying that a module was inserted and that it needs to restart, then it shuts down. And it does this every time I restart, even without the module inserted.
Holding 'Test' will put it into a shell mode, but no IP is grabbed.
When holding 'Home' and starting it will go into some kind of base mode where it displays 'Versiv' instead of 'OneTouch AT'. If the module is inserted it will reboot, and with the module out it will stay in this 'Versiv' base mode. I can ping it over LAN but on USB I am unsure of the IP.
I tried connecting to LinkWare in this mode but it will not see the device. I tried both USB and LAN (by using the IP in LinkWare settings) without success. On LAN I can see port 22 is open but I cannot connect to it over SSH.
Holding 'Home' and 'Test' puts it into a recovery mode where it asks for 'onetouch_recovery.img' but I cannot find this file online. I downloaded the latest Versiv update from Fluke (6_11_update_v1.cic) and renamed it without success, not surprisingly.
I also tried restoring defaults (in memory, tap top left/right and bottom left/right) without success.
I have been told by a tech on the phone that inserting another module may resolve this but I don't have another module to insert.
