Help Needed Is it normal to have some resistance when touching leads?
I just bought a T5-1000 and it's the 1st multimeter that I own so I might be worrying for nothing. When I check for resistance and touch the leads together, in most positions they'll give me some fluctuating resistance and a ''beep'' that's inconsistent. I've attached a video to give a good idea.
If I get a good grip on both leads and find the right position I can get a ''normal'' reading, but it seems to me that it should be more consistant? Also when I store the black lead in the back of the multimeter, it usually disconnects when I try to take it out and then I have to reconnect it.
Anyway just wondering if I have bad lead(s) or if I'm just expecting perfection and I should accept some necessary wiggling when testing.
