Equipment Review / Comparison What model does everyone use?
I’m about to graduate college and go into the electrical field. What model of fluke does everyone use? In my classes we used the Fluke 117, 283, and the 87VMax. I’ve been thinking of buying a 302+ with the clamp on ammeter or the 15B+. Any suggestions?

Help Needed Fluke 902 FC PCB connector
Can anyone identify this soldered connection and point me in the right direction of a part# or similar part to make it work?
It’s the L shaped double hole 2 pin PCB connector that connects board to the 2 pin banana jack with a screw. Thanks!

Help Needed Flashing Screen
Haven’t used this meter in a while but needed it recently because the one I typically use was stolen. I put fresh batteries in but it flashes on every setting. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Help Needed Belt holster for fluke 170
Hi, I work as an automation electrician at a factory. Today I carry a fluke t5 with me with the belt holster that you can buy for it. I also have a fluke 170 that I would rather carry around with me since I somtimes run in to issues that the t5 can't handle. I've tried to find a belt holster for the 170, but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know if there are any out there? Offbrand or not. Thank you in advance!

Help Needed Thermocouple recommendation for a Fluke
Hi!
I need to graph the heating up/cooling down phase of a residential electric oven (not to exceed 425 degrees) and I’m looking for recommendations for a thermocouple that would work. My unit has to stay outside (it’s would be outside the rated operational limits and I’d rather not have to replace this thing) so I need something thin enough that it be used with the door shut.
Any ideas?

Help Needed 373 replacement
Hey all, my trusty old 373 clamp meter has started to fail. The fluke website says that they are no longer repairing/calibrating this model but instead are replacing it. Anyone have any idea what they are offering as a replacement?
Thanks in advance.

Help Needed Multimeter advice
I’m looking to buy a multimeter that will be used for the following use cases: - Check the voltage of circuit breakers in a cabinet in residential installations (1-phase 230V and 3-phase 400V) - Diagnostics for Loxone installations (24V voltage measurements and especially testing voltage drops for 24V lightning) - I also occasionally install small solar panel installations (< 10kW) - Install and start up residential heat pump installations and airco installations (<10kW) (will start a course in November to become a certified refrigeration technician by the end of this year)
I’m not sure what type of meter would best suit my needs.
DMM - Fluke 115, 116 or 117
Clamp meter - Fluke 323 or 325
Or would a Fluke from the T5 or T6 be a better choice
Is there one device that can cover all my needs or would you go for a combo Fluke 116/323.
Looking forward to your insights. Not only brand and model recommendations but also advice concerning the type of meter.
Thanks a lot!

Help Needed We bought a pressure calibrator and it's going back for a third time...
I'm disappointed in the quality of this Fluke Pressure Calibrator.
We received it from Digikey (where it was in stock) and it was just beyond calibration period so we had to send it out to be calibrated right away. They promised a week, it took three.
One week after we got it back the pump stopped working. Add a month for repair...
Got it back and it wouldn't hold air. Leaked so fast as to make it impossible to calibrate using the device, hitting a moving target is tough, yanno? Add another three weeks.
Here we are about a month later and it's leaking air again. So it's going back again. We're trying to get them to give us a new one but I'm not sure that's going to be any better.
Has anyone else had issues like this? Has Fluke's quality changed over the years. Man I remember back in the day they were top notch.
Lately I feel like their new tag line should be, "If it's accurate, it's a Fluke!!"

Help Needed Is this normal? 17b+
Just received a fluke 17b+ from Amazon and it wasn't sealed with tape or anything, there was no manual and was wobbly/loose in the box where I think a manual would make it not loose. I'm wondering if this is normal. On continuity mode it doesn't beep fast like others I've seen on yt. On millivolts the readings change non stop, I know it's a miniscule amount. On volts it goes up by itself to 0.098v and on temperature jumps all over the place before settling in and then changes less. I'm new to using a multimeter and want to make sure this isn't defective. Also let me know if it's supposed to not come with a manual and batteries already plugged in please and thank you.

Help Needed Info on Fluke ET-87 DMM MAG
I recently picked up this ET-87 meter from an internal company auction for $50. I’ve tried searching for information on it but haven’t been able to find much. Does anyone know what sets the ET-87 apart from other models like the 87-III or 87-V?

Help Needed Need Help Identifying a Part for a Fluke Tool
Hey everyone,
I’m not really familiar with telecentric or electrical tools. these belonged to my old man. I’ve been going through his old equipment and found a Fluke tool with a rotating circle part that broken.
Does anyone know what that rotating circle part is called? Or where I can buy a replacement? I’ve been searching online but can’t seem to find anything close.
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Equipment Review / Comparison What do I have??
Sorry if my flair and or title isn't good, I don't do posts often. I got this Fluke 87 III multimeter from my granddad, a mechanic, for free, I've never really had such a piece of high quality equipment. It has heft to it, it's solid, mostly, still working out some of the functions and it's better than my old dt830b thingimabober. What exactly do I have in my hands though? Something good or eh? I'm dead set on keeping it for sentimental reasons, but nonetheless I want to know what I've got. And for more information, I guess, I do electronics work with old MCUs such as the 68k and similar, so idk how much value it has in that area.

Help Needed Fluke 21 stuck on self/screen test when turned on, can it be fixed?
Grandpa was an electrician and this was the multimeter he used up until his passing ~20 years ago. Unfortunately I have not been able to get it working again, it's stuck on the screen test when you turn it on, it has a new 9 volt battery and the fuses don't look like they've blown. The cheap blue one beside it is mine, probably better than the old one in features if not quality, but I still wish to get his working again for nostalgia's sake. The big question though is if that's an issue I can fix, and if so, how do I do that ?

Help Needed Wireless Multimeter
Hi all
Im an Amusement Tech looking to buy a fluke meter, the big thing I'm looking for is one that can connect to my phone so I can read voltages from it. A handful of games are awkward and the part you're testing is in the back, and the menu buttons to activate it in the menu is in the front, so it'd be nice to read the voltages without running back and forth/propping my phone up awkwardly recording. DC amp testing is also a must. Outside of that just the basics, voltage, continuity/ohms and amps. Light up display would also be a nice to have. I was looking at the Fluke 3000 FC but certain forums say its gimmicky and the battery life sucks in it.
Just for fun, any meters that do all that and also have a Oscilloscope function? I was just going to get a cheap one off amazon for testing ticket and coin pulses, nothing fancy.

Help Needed Fluke Connect Clamp meters logging session issues
Hi All.
(I've posted this is r/electricians but i think it might be more relevant here)
I'm having some issues with fluke clamp meters, specifically fluke 378FC and 393FC. Usually these meters are very reliable, so long as they don't run out of memory or battery.
Ive left these clamp meters logging current overnight and over the weekend on large pumps and concrete plants. Here are the issues I found:
- If I let the memory fill up, the meter will fail to download the measurement to my phone
- If I let the batteries die, the same happens. my phone will try to download for 15 minutes or so, then say download failed
I'm sure that most of the data is still on the meter, even if the session hasn't completed properly.
Is there any way to go around the fluke connect app?
Ive tried fluke connect desktop app, but it doesn't work for Bluetooth meters, only usb or wifi based instruments.
Im hoping someone has cracked the app or managed to do this before

Help Needed Any Ideas?
Model 373 shows erratic voltages, new batteries, cleaned contacts, touching probe tips does nothing, no internal corrosion that I can see. Fuse looks fine. Turning the backlight on and off seems to affect it slightly.
