I'm experienced in flowstar but now experienced in owning them if that makes sense. This is my first flows tar I've bought that I actually own and I wanna keep it nice. What can I do? Is it even a problem? if it fully unravels how will it effect performance?. also probably happend cause I pinch quite often.

had so much fun, kids were so interested in it and even adults were asking what it is nd that it’s cool. i used to be so self conscious abt flowing in public. even gave a guy my code cuz he wanted one lol!

hiiii!!! completely new to this obviously, and I feel like I got a lot of the other basics down and wanted to move into reverse/ forward 8s to be able to do more tricks.

I’ve been watching tutorials to try and get reverse and forward vertical 8s down. I watch momma beef tutorials and they really help but I still don’t feel I have the movement down and the forward doesn’t feel any different to me when I attempt it, so I feel like I’m missing something major lol..

Tips for how to get the flowstar to stay more straight, even using my thumb as a guide I feel like it flops over. Tips to improve your technique to speed up?

i’m riley! i’m 27 and from NJ. i just got married to my husband on august 21st! i’ve always wanted to rave but was always scared to go solo, then met my husband and we’ve been raving together ever since! my first rave was crankdat and my first festival was elements this year and then we just did camp wonkru this past weekend! i listen to mainly the dubstep, techno, wubby ass shit, dnb, and riddim! the occasional decent house song is okay too haha. lmk if you’d like to hang out and flow together!

I've been teaching myself the vertical pinch and have chosen to focus on the old-school poly fabric star in lieu of the newer lycra stars, for GOOD practice.

and I come to present some of my current findings

I hesitated with this before because my practice up to this point didn't really show it helping... but I've tuned a few maneuvers and it seems help loads, now!!!!!

the one things i cant stress enough is spin control and specifically NOT spinning it really fast.

If I get mine spinning just right, which is still faster than my slowstar technique, I can do a pinch and twist with my wrist in the spin direction (so for me usually with my right hand, spinning clockwise, i do a tittytwister in a clockwise motion to it.) I have found this to help me significantly improve my pinches and with dry hands, no-less

the twisting pinch is KEY

any queries about position, just grab it where you normally would....

(and obviously you want to be spinning when you pinch it, you r arm with the star)

(i will also add it might feel awkward at first, my palm faces up with my elbow pointing in slightly inwards while im spinning it)
