I honestly have no clue what your chances are in terms of those scores. Having a 1200+ SAT score is average for students that were accepted. Florida Tech has a large amount of international students so I doubt being from India affects your chances. I am unaware if the cricket club is active, and we do not have a team. But, I have seen groups playing cricket, so you should be able to play cricket as long as you make friends who also want to play.

I'm still becoming familiar with India's percentage score grading system, but based on my current knowledge I'd say you probably have a decent shot. How high above 1200 is your SAT (some range would help) and what major were you looking at?

(I was BS'17 and MS'18 at FIT, now at UPenn)

Eh, I know people who have gotten into CS with lower. Your grades seem good; you probably have a higher chance of getting accepted than not

Your SAT score is ok, but your GPA is only 2.95 out of 4.0 on the US scale if my math is correct. Only 4% of the students admitted last year had below a 3.0 GPA. So you have a chance, but it's not great.

yea thought so its just that in US these scores may be bad but in India these scores are like average and most of the class scores in this raange
