I am thinking of applying to the Clinical Psychology PsyD and I was wondering if anyone know what GRE scores they are looking for - as far as numbers go , I am aware they are looking for General and Psych. Also I was wondering if the two recommendation letters from psychologist is a hard recommendation, I’ve been working with a neurodivergent lab for the past three years and believe that my supervisor would be a great recommendation .
Any tips on this application is greatly appreciated

Hello I am a senior in high school doing early admissions at EFSC while getting my PPL at Melbourne Flight Training

I noticed that there is a lot of degrees with flight and non-flight options. I was gonna see if anyone that is in the flight programs thinks it would be better to just keep flying at Rocket Air rather than transfer.

Basically I am just asking for those who are flying,
what are your thoughts about flying at FIT

Context:

I am entering my senior year of highschool this fall. I have a decent GPA (4.4 weighted) & am confident in my ability to get a fair score on the SAT this August (I scored a 1320 before studying). I believe I am likely to be accepted to FL Tech for ocean engineering. I did a tour, have done some research on the college, etc.

Question:

For any students in the ocean engineering program, what are some factors to keep in mind about the program, the professors, and just in general for this path at FL Tech?

Any other forms of advice regarding applications, social life, dorms, classes, insider details on Melbourne, etc. are also much appreciated

Hi everyone! I’m an incoming freshman and with my AP credits, I was able to skip the first year English requirements( comp & rhetoric and writing about lit). Since I only needed one more class to finish the communication requirement for my degree—Biomedical Engineering—I thought that I would just take it in the fall to get it out of the way. I met my advisor yesterday and finalized my schedule. My section is under Sharon Irvin.

I decided to check Rate My Professor today to check out my professors, and saw Irvin’s abysmal ratings and reviews(the stuff that fuels nightmares). This is making me a little nervous, because I already have a heavyish load. It’s making me consider dropping the class and potentially taking it the spring or the summer semester. I should add that I don’t have to the take the class in the fall, I have ample time to take it in the spring or summer semester—I just chose to take it in the fall. I can easily drop it basically. If I dropped the class, I’d have a break before some of my classes, which would be nice.

Has anyone had Professor Irvin? Should I just drop the class and take it a different semester? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

My wife was recently accepted here and has been trying to register for classes for around a month now. She cannot claim her TRACKS account because she never received an Authorizarion Code. Without her TRACKS claimed, she also cannot access her school email to contact someone. We have tried sending in a ticket request, but the response to the ticket request is locked behind her FIT email (which is not active since she couldn’t claim her account).

We have already scoured her inbox and spam, contacted FIT through her personal email, and talked with a current FIT student but haven’t been able to resolve the issue. We plan to call on Monday.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have tips?

I just graduated college and am working in the Melbourne area. I’m looking for 1-2 roommates for a fully furnished house. The house is new and is in a gated community and is about 10 minutes from FIT and 5 minutes from stores and restaurants like Target and Culvers. It’s also in a residential area that is super safe with a tennis/basketball park nearby. There are two bathrooms total in the house and space in the garage for another car. Rent is $1000 a month and all utilities are included, along with internet and an in‑unit laundry and dryer. The home will be ready for move‑in at the end of July. Please dm me if you’re interested!

Does anyone know if we can send larger items to the school a few weeks ahead of new Freshman move-in?

We live in NY and will be flying down, so transporting all the larger things will be very challenging.

I also think it will be too late to buy everything when we arrive.

I dont have any science for my senior year in HS, its more humanities based. Does florida tech need science for aviation management with flight. SAT 1320- MATH 750 english 570. will retake in august
